Resident Evil Village has received a release date of May 7th today as part of the Resident Evil Showcase, and alongside a new trailer, we've been treated to a few minutes (IGN says four, but we say five!) of first-look gameplay footage.

You can check it out above, which showcases everything from its impressive visuals to its powerful combat, as well as its new crafting system and weapon upgrades. There's a lot going on in these five minutes!
