I did get Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Forza Horizon 4.. Can't wait to start them games up.. Merry Christmas everyone..
Got my Xbox Series X, will set it up later I’m in my 40’s but I’ve been saving my birthday and Christmas money up for it for a while..
Merry Christmas Everyone!
I'm receiving in two or three days a headset I discovered on this very website : the Turltle Beach Stealth 700 gen 2.
I'm also planning on getting immediately the Dolby Atmos application.
Until now, I was just playing with my TV sound (good 4K picture, but very crappy sound, like many modern TVs).
So I'm sure I'll be amazed right away by the difference in-game (and also when I'll be whatching movies).
I get my own things on Christmas so i got things for all 3 of my systems.
I got an Xbox-branded mug and NBA 2K21 Next Gen version Can't wait to see some next gen graphics. Merry Christmas everyone!
@Bobobiwan
Dolby Atmos hasn't made the sound any better for me. Sounds about the same as on Windows Sonic (using HyperX Cloud Alpha- don't know if headsets need to be Dolby Atmos certified, or not).
I don't know about y'all, but my family and I came to an agreement, ten years back. Christmas is for the children. So every year, we focus on the children in the family, because as adults we can get what we want. Plus it's hard shopping for an adult, "soooooo, not that I'LL BUY it or anything, but what did you kinda want for christmas?" Besides, I got myself cp2077, sm: mm, and avengers for less than $100. Thank goodness for these sales.
As a 31 year old with two kids under 5 it’s all about the kids. But I did get an Xbox gift card that I look forward to using on Crash 4. Still hunting for a Series X but I don’t expect to find one (for regular price) until March at the earliest.
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition from my daughter this morning.
My wife and I exchange our gifts at night and we do the rest of the family stuff a couple days later. So I won’t know my full haul until the whole weekend is over.
I know I am getting games - it’s all I ask for even at almost 40 years old. Sorry, not sorry.
No Series X or PS5 though. I’ll get both eventually.
Got me an Xbox Series X as a gift to myself. Other then that I got mostly candy like I usually do.
It was my birthday on the 23rd, so I ended up with quite a bit. WRC 9, Control: Ultimate Edition, Pikmin 3 Deluxe and £140; the latter will either be used to pre-order some stuff (Hitman III next month) or put towards one of those Seagate expansion cards.
@Tasuki
Lucky u found a next-gen console i was SOL i even saved up more then enough but oh well i'm now waiting till next year to grab a console then wait even longer on the one i dont grab.... Merry Christmas
Not got much this Christmas on the gaming front but I bought myself a digital copy of AC: Valhalla in a sale for £35, Bright Memory and the German pack of Enlisted in preparation for getting a Series X by end of next month. Going to rent Watch Dogs Legion. Can’t wait for end of January 😃
@Gaming365247 If you have Twitter follow Wario64, he posts when places get a shipment in, that's how I got mine.
Just:75$ in Xbox gift cards
As far as my gaming needs: Assassin's Creed: Chronicles & Code Vein
(Xbox One)
Got a $20 Windows Store card in my stocking. I then used it last night to pick up Yakuza Kiwami 2 in the sale!
AC Valhalla. Woohoo....and amazon vouchers which I'm holding onto for Cyberpunk to get fixed.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. I always save COD for Christmas, and while I've never regarded the Black Ops series as highly as others, I have to say I've been thoroughly impressed with Raven's campaign thus far. For my money, this is easily the best Black Ops campaign yet, exceeding Treyarch's always entertaining but slightly off previous efforts, and I don't think I've enjoyed a COD campaign this much since Modern Warfare 3 (excluding the MW 1 and 2 remasters, of course). No, it's not a patch on playing COD4 on Christmas day 2007, but I've had a blast all the same.
