Well, it seems the rumours were true! Master Chief - the protagonist of the Halo series - is officially joining Fortnite today. His suit (1500 V-Bucks) and entire set (2600 V-Bucks) is now available from the item shop in the game.
Part of the Gaming Legends series, the Master Chief set is now available in the Item Shop. Chief among this set is the Master Chief Outfit, available individually or in the Master Chief Bundle with the rest of the set. Suit up in the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor and become a SPARTAN-II.
In battle, make your landing with the UNSC Pelican Glider, a miniature Pelican carrier. And cover your back with the Battle Legend Back Bling, a holographic Elite skull which serves as a trophy of the Chief’s exploits.
Also, when harvesting, batter like a Brute with the Gravity Hammer Pickaxe. You may have driven a car or a Motorboat on the Island, but probably not a Warthog. With the traversal Lil’ Warthog Emote, take a mini-M12 Force Application Vehicle for an off-road or on-road drive.
If you play Fortnite on Xbox Series X|S after purchasing the Master Chief outfit, you'll also unlock a special Matte Black Style - a memento of his Xbox history.
And last but not least is a recreation of the multiplayer map Blood Gulch in Fortnite Creative, where you'll be able to participate in a game of Capture the Flag. You can find this level in the Featured Hub section of Fortnite.

Should I be happy, sad, angry, or careless?
Never played the game, how does one get this? Lootbox? Paid for directly? Some temporary free perk?
@Tharsman you would just buy him directly. Skin itself is 1500 vbuck. They sell v bucks starting at 1000 for 7.99. Then they have a bundle for 2600 v bucks with the extra stuff.
Where’s samus?
God, Nintendo. Such a missed opportunity if you’re not allowing Samus being put in Fortnite...
@Thwomp_Stomper "fun", seems that vbuck/cost is perfectly designed so you always give them more money than things are worth, so you always feel "got to give them more money to use the leftover balance"
@Tharsman yeah it’s a dirty tactic for sure. They should have more options for single purchases. But I guess that how they make the big bucks.
@Friendly could be a design problem. Samus in her suit couldn’t hold gun or do certain animations with a blaster for an arm. And I’m sure they can’t just have zero suit without the iconic suit as well. Or Nintendo is just sensitive about one of their characters using Assault rifles and such. Hope I’m wrong though! Would love her in it.
@Thwomp_Stomper that might actually be it.
Or overprotectiveness. We’ll probably never know unless they reveal Samus in the upcoming weeks.
@Friendly We got Kratos a few days ago, Master Chief yesterday, maybe Samus in a few days if this is a pattern?
