I helped, kind-of. I preordered and my unit was shipped on launch day, but won't arrive until Friday.

Can confirm my order will actually be coming soon so they already restocked some places

This pandemic has created a bigger need for gaming which has surely helped both the series s/x and ps5 shift some extraordinary numbers at launch, this pandemic has already massively helped the switch sky rocket with sales and especially animal crossing

Great news, I still think PS5 will outsell the Xbox Series by a large margin but MS won’t care as long as the Xbox brand is still growing and pulling in more subscribers for Game Pass.

I was initially going to wait till the end of February to get the Series X but hearing and seeing everyone with one these last couple of days is making me really jealous, so going to get one in January instead. I’d of had one right now if it wasn’t for my kids getting a Switch each for Christmas, that’s £840 and that’s before I even buy any games!

Had mine since late afternoon launch day.
Loving it so far.
The whole experience is just so smooth and the Quick Resume has been very handy jumping from AC: Valhalla to multiplayer games and back.
Just need to make sure we get a steady release of games now from MS.

Well, the thing is that this is the first time an Xbox has launched worldwide on the same day. So it's obviuosly going to be the one that sells the most in 24 hours 🤷‍♀️

@blinx01 i haven't tried quick resume yet...do I need to do anything specific or do i just boot up a game and go back to the home screen and boot up another one and then I'll have quick resume as an option? Also I'm in environmental friendly power mode so does that allow it? @FraserG maybe you can help me out?

As long as your games are digital, you could be playing 'GAME A', then go to home screen, open 'GAME B', and then you just go back as if the game was paused.
The power mode doesn't make any difference. You could literally remove the power from the wall and your game will still be in Quick Resume.
I'd just advise to save a game to be extra safe in case they crash for some reason.

I really hope retailers will start actually letting us purchase "in-person". I know the reason is to protect people from COVID, but online-only orders for the foreseeable future are going to get destroyed by scalpers with their bots.

I had a Series X in my cart on Wal-Mart's website and it was sold out before I could finish checking-out. Every ounce of stock was literally gone in 60 seconds.

XBox's biggest launch while console sales are artificially spiked may not mean much....but it's still quite nice to see after the full scale implosion that was the XBone launch. That was painful to watch. Even my WiiU seemed infinitely more desirable than an XBone at the time. Watching that in slow motion wasn't pretty.

I've tried to move some games I think I'll want to test out at full capability (MHU+IB/FFXV to the add-on SSD. TESO, also, prepping for when it gets a full XSX patch this year (oh man that game alone will devour me....) It's sad seeing my 2TB storage at like 60+ % consumption. My old spinner is only 78% full....it's connected too.

I don't see myself ever moving Quantum Break to the SSD.....at 168GB that hurts. I did move RDR2...but that might be temporary. That's also too huge.

I'm still waiting for my console to be delivered! I have been on the phone to Microsoft for the past 2 days trying to speak to someone but all they tell me is phone again tomorrow to check. They don't even know where my xbox has been shipped to! So annoyed right now.. customer service at microsoft is shocking!!!!

I wasn’t able to find one on launch either 🙄. Eventually I will be able to snag one myself so until then I will jealously listen to everyone go one about how awesome it is!
