Can't say I am a fan of the art style they have gone for...
That looks ******* awful. I said it before but tragically the HD remaster for X360/PS3 Looks like it's better than this. Are Ubisoft blind to what Activision and Capcom have been doing with their remakes/remasters?!
Awful... One of my favourite gaming series is essentially never going to see the light of day again after this, but this looks so bad I can't even bring myself to purchase it to support PoP
Oh Ubisoft you bloody bunch of melons.
@pip_muzz I'm considering right now to purchase the original which is, I believe, backward compatible.
@Bobobiwan If it is, I highly recommend it. The combat isn't great but the platforming is still fun and the game is enjoyable. From what I've seen, I would definitely avoid waiting to play this game with this "remake" as your first experience.
Never played the original so i might pick this up..
Great game but is this running on the gameboy?
It wasn't Ubisoft's priority this year but still looks better than the original, in my opinion. What other good Prince of Persia games there are? I have only played this one, on GameCube. I haven't played any other but I have heard that the recent ones aren't very good.
Only Ubisoft can screw up a remake of a beloved game...
I love the sands of time, but I was never able to fully play it because I didn't have a PC that could run it. Finally I'll be able to play and enjoy it.
@pip_muzz Thanks for the advice, friend ! I just purchased it for less than 4 dollars (it is on sale right now).
It was a bit of a mess to find it, cause for whatever reason, you cannot buy it FROM your Xbox One. You have to buy it from Xbox.com or from you Xbox 360 and then you can download it on your One. I don't know if it is a licencing problem, or whatever.
But the game is pretty great, and it is off course enhanced in 4K on One X, like all BC games !
Now, I don't need this remake at all...
@Furikao @TheNewButler I encourage you guys to get the original : it is backward compatible, and on sale right now for less than 4 dollars (see my previous comment).
@Bobobiwan Happy to help. The direct sequels (Warrior Within and Two Thrones) are good too. But Sands of Time is probably the most well rounded. The combat is improved in the next ones, but then the combat becomes too much of a focus over the great platforming. Overall one of my favourite gaming trilogies. Hope you enjoy the rest of the game. Kind of jealous I'm not playing it for the first time myself.
@Bobobiwan Thanks 4 the tip, but due to country restrictions i cant buy none of the originals Prince of Persia games. So, i have to waith 4 the remake version.
