Yep, we've got another limited edition Xbox controller to share! This time, it's based on the upcoming release of Star Wars: Squadrons, with just 2500 units available to pre-order.
Like the Gears of War controller we highlighted earlier today, this comes packed with a Pro Charging Stand and features a magnetic contact system for a secure and fast charge, custom button mapping, a textured grip, and up to twice the wireless range - and it's officially licensed by Disney, Lucasfilm and Microsoft.
And while it's not based on the slightly refreshed Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X Wireless Controller design, it's confirmed to still be compatible with the next-generation systems.
You can pre-order it now from Controller Gear, but even The Force won't save you from its $169.99 price tag.
Will you be picking one of these up? Do you like it more than the Gears one? Let us know below.

Once again.....too rich for my blood. It looks really cool though.
And nice word play on the title of the article, by the way. 👍🏻
If I was going to spend this money on a controller, it would be an Elite 2.
That design even highlights where the new share button should be. Money would definitely be better spent on an elite controller though.
Give me an imperial controller, then we can speak.
Wow, almost the same price as the elite XD.
But have to say, it really looks cool.
This tickles me Post-Apoc "sense" but for that price, I can buy a normal pad, do my own sh... sub-stand paint job then (since its meant to look ruined anyway) check an easy 100 on the Quest 2 pile.
Also this reminds me a lot of the Titanfall controller.
@themightyant
Exactly what I was thinking. Why not just get the Elite 2 controller?
I think these are more for just collectors. I doubt many will even actually use the controller.
Just to drive that dead horse into the ground: Brilliant controller. No fluffing way is it worth the same price as an elite.
@Thretosix
Yeah and then that GPU gets inside PC case, never to be seen again.
@Thretosix How so? The only limitation you have from buying one of these is no share button.
That said, as much as I like this, I'll just be waiting on the Elite Series 3 with a share button. Been telling people ever since the Gamester FPS controller, on the original Xbox, that buttons on the underside of the grips should be standard.
Since I've been able to get a reliable first party controller with paddles that's about all I'll be sticking to.
Too rich for me I'm afraid, even if it was the newer XSC, XSS controller.
Looks nice though!
