Thekla has announced today that it is bringing Braid Anniversary Edition to Xbox One and Xbox Series X in the first quarter of 2021, enhancing the game's visuals, audio suite and more.
As noted on the game's official website, Anniversary Edition will feature a fully repainted game with much higher levels of detail, extra animations and effects to make movement feel better; more sophisticated brush-stroke effects to animate the foregrounds and backgrounds, and much more.
Additionally, you'll be able to toggle between the old and new graphical styles at will, and a commentary track will be included which will apparently be "the most detailed commentary in any game, ever."
Looking forward to this? Are you a fan of the original Braid? Let us know in the comments.

This is a game that has been in my Steam backlog forever (not the full backlog, the "actually-intend-to-play-someday" backlog,) but I guess I'll play this version instead when its out.
Edit: I do got to say, this is the kind of game I’m much more likely to play on my Switch, though.
I know I am in the minority here, but I never liked this game. Lol.
And it was a huge 360 exclusive, at the time, & I just never understood what all the fuss was about after I played it.
