It looks like yet another anticipated game this year will suffer a slight delay. Instead of arriving in late 2020, Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 has now been pushed back to 2021. Sorry folks!
The teams behind the game, Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive shared an official statement over on Twitter:
"We are moving the launch of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 to 2021."
The reason behind this is to ensure the developers can deliver "the best game possible" and release a worthy successor to the original title. Due to the quality bar - it means a release this year is no longer achievable.
More information and updates regarding the launch timing and other "organizational changes" to help make the release possible will be shared in the coming months.
Do you mind having to wait for this one until next year? Leave a comment down below.

Bit saddened but I already got a long list of games to play through the final quarter of this year.
Halo, Valhalla, cyberpunk, Watchdogs, Yakuza LAD, the medium, the observer redux... I’m sure I’m missing some stuff, and that’s just Xbox stuff. Never know what curve ball Nintendo will throw my way.
And still very early next year there will be Hitman 3 and FarCry 6... Yea, I think I’ll be already overloaded till February anyways.
I am not surprised. This game looked a bit rough visually.
I’m perfectly fine with this, as it seems this will be a lengthy game anyway. Gives me enough time to really sink into CyberPunk 2077 this fall
Too bad, as I'm pretty excited for this and it's been delayed quite a bit already.
That said, better good later than bad now.
Not surprising with devs having to work from home due to the pandemic I am expecting alot of games to be delayed this year.
