We weren't expecting this! Indie game Spiritfarer, which is described as a "cosy management game about dying," has just shadow dropped on a range of platforms including Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.
In the game, you'll play as Stella - ferrymaster to the deceased - as you befriend spirits and release them into the afterlife. You'll be able to farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook and craft your way across mystical seas, and the game also includes two-player cooperative play - the other play takes control of a cat called Daffodil!
Spiritfarer is now available with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC, or you can purchase it from the Microsoft Store.

Based on the description, it didn't sound all that interesting. However, after looking up reviews of the game, it sounds absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to give it a try tonight!
Not one that was on my radar, but more than willing to give it a go now it’s dropped on Game pass!
This was announced at Nintendo’s Indie World presentation today. Cool its getting the Game Pass treatment.
Even though I have never heard of this one, the game being on Xbox Game Pass makes me super eager to give it a try one of these days. I love shadow dropped Game Pass titles.
Wow I’m surprised at how many didn’t know about this game They announced this at last years MS E3 event for ID@Xbox then it went quiet with news. I’m so happy about the shadow drop, looking forward to it
