Update: Journalist Brad Sams has posted a hands-on video with the new design via Thurrott, which you can see above.
Original Story: Late last week, we shared the news that a mysterious "Mercury" app had appeared on some Xbox One owners' consoles, with Windows Central suggesting it was the codename of a large Xbox Store update. And now, it looks like we might have some images of the new design.
Earlier today, Twitter account WinCommunity unveiled the following images, calling them "screenshots of the Mercury app for Xbox One running on Windows 10."
If the images are indeed real, it looks like the Xbox Store will be adopting a similar design to the current Xbox (Beta) app for PC. Windows Central says it's heard the new Xbox Store will come to Xbox One and Xbox Series X, and Microsoft is apparently working on a ground-up remake of the mobile apps on iOS and Android as well.
What do you think of the design? Like it? Hate it? Let us know in the comments.

Anything has to be better than the store they have now, so I am 👍🏻 with this.
As long as we get more speed and less crashing then I’m fine with this design. I’d need to see it in action to give a real opinion though.
Looks much cleaner. I welcome it, if they're smart it will be unveiled this Autumn for Series X.
I will have to actually sit down and play with it before I make a decision if I like it or not. From the looks of it though it looks great but let's see how well it is to navigate and use.
Xbox 360 had the best store interface. Why is there no A-Z tab for games on Xbox One?!¡¿ If there is I can't find it.
Yeah looks alright that
I want them to redesign the achievements. Make it all function from within the Guide as it did on the 360. Too much of the Friends and Achievements stuff exists in a seperate window, pulling you out of a game if you want to browse. 360 didn’t do that.
