Bungie appears to have revealed details on its next IP via a couple of job listings on its careers site for a Incubation Investment Designer and Incubation Art Director (thanks TheGamePost, VGC).
According to one of the listings, the Destiny studio is creating something "comedic with lighthearted and whimsical characters," with the other noting that it's looking for someone with experience in RPG game systems. One of the responsibilities for the Incubation Investment Designer will be to "design, build, and tune a wide variety of pursuit and loot systems."
Bungie hasn't said anything officially about when we can expect a new IP to surface, although CEO Pete Parsons did mention to IGN last year that the company wants to have "other franchises within the marketplace" by 2025.

I play Destiny often, it's one of my favorite games, and Bungie has always been one of my favorite studios. I look forward to anything they do. This certainly sounds like something new and fresh for the studio
Glad to hear they are working on something new as I burned out on Destiny long ago.
