2018's co-op prison-break adventure A Way Out was a smash hit for developer Hazelight Studios, which previously gave us the critically-acclaimed Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons in 2013.
Now, studio head Josef Fares has confirmed we'll get a look at the team's next game later this week at EA Play Live 2020, revealing that it'll just be "a short tease" for now:
We don't have many clues as to what to expect, aside from that it won't be A Way Out 2. Fares noted to RPS back in 2019 that the developer wasn't working on a sequel, but the next game will be "something with story, and in many cases remind [players] of Brothers and A Way Out, but in a very different way.”

I can't see it being A Way Out 2 due to the ending but you never know. My son and I both enjoyed A Way Out and it's game play was very unique. If their new game has similar game play then I will check it out for sure.
@Tasuki I really enjoyed A Way Out as well. Played through all of it in one sitting (on two separate occasions), which is rare for me.
@FraserG Yeah I found this game hard to put down myself. I even ended up playing through the game twice and it was one of the few game I platinumed on the PS4. Dang talking about it now kind makes me want to replay it lol.
