Rumour: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Multiplayer Is Still In Development

Here's something we weren't expecting to hear today - notable leaker TheGamingRevolution, who has revealed various rumours about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered in recent weeks, has suggested the multiplayer portion of the game is still in development.

The rumour comes just days after Activision confirmed multiplayer wasn't included as part of the game, and indicated it would be "bringing more classic map experiences to new life within the Modern Warfare universe" instead.

It's obviously worth taking all of this with a pinch of salt for now, but it seems there's a chance - just a chance - that the game might be getting a multiplayer mode (or something similar) in the future. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered launches for Xbox One on April 30th.
