Why is Gears coming to consoles later? Gears was born on Xbox, why are we shafted until a later date in favour of PC?
@SuperNintendoMii I would think it's because Strategy games tend to be more PC flavor than console. It probably got started as a PC project first and is the primary focus.
Can't wait for the new Sea of Thieves update. I really wish they'd give Yakuza Kiwami a proper date tho!
@SuperNintendoMii I think that the console version was planned later when they added keyboard and mouse support on Xbox One.

This same type of thing happened when the developers of X-Com 2 talked about that game. It launched on PC first because that is the focus during game development. They ported it to consoles later when they had more time to adapt it to a controller.
Gears Tactics is being developed in the same way, which I think is a good thing. It does suck to have to wait longer for the game, but I am 👍🏻 with it if it means we get a great product in the end.
