Update: (Thu 16th Apr, 2020 19:35 BST): Following a leak of the game's teaser trailer earlier today, Crysis Remastered has now officially been revealed by Crytek. It's coming this summer for Xbox One, and is described as the following:
"Crysis Remastered will focus on the original game’s single-player campaigns and is slated to contain high-quality textures and improved art assets, an HD texture pack, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, state-of-the-art depth fields, new light settings, motion blur, and parallax occlusion mapping, particle effects will also be added where applicable. Further additions such as volumetric fog and shafts of light, software-based ray tracing, and screen space reflections provide the game with a major visual upgrade."
Original Story: (Thu 16th Apr, 2020 12:15 BST): It's definitely happening! Crysis Remastered is on the way for Xbox One (as well as a variety of other platforms) following a leak discovered on the game's official website. Twitter user @RobotBrush spotted descriptions and logos for the game on its cookie policy page, and shared them earlier today.
According to the original page, which has since had all mention of Crysis Remastered removed, the game is described as having "new graphic features" including an "API-agnostic ray tracing solution":
The Twitter user grabbed a few logos for the game as well, and found a 'coming soon' page which stated that "Crytek's ground-breaking, critically acclaimed first person shooter is back!".

Never played the original, I might have to pick this up..
Assuming this is true, that would be awesome, I've never played it, but have been considering to do so for a bit now and would consider picking it up. Personally though, I would have wished that they would have made a new game instead of remastering an old one (a trend that a lot of companies seem to be taking and that honestly, I'm not a fan of, would much rather have new games instead) instead.
Oh, cool! I was planning to buy the 360 version but now I'll be waiting for this!
Whoa and Switch, that's great news!!
This is one of those titles I'd be sceptical of buying on Switch. It needs the Xbox One X to really show off its visuals.
Should have just waited to launch on next gen Series X! 🙈
So many remasters lately!
@BrilliantBill
Agreed, this needed to happen. Looking forward to this.
Would be cool to get the Trilogy remastered and, this late in the Gen, on next gen hardware....
