Random: Xbox Fan Designs 'Killer Queen' Inspired Controller For Wife

An Xbox fan has taken to Reddit to show off a custom 'Killer Queen' inspired controller designed for their wife. It's a beautiful controller, decorated with the lyrics of Queen's hit song, and we spoke to the person behind it - Reddit user SamuelFrost4 - to find out how and why they put this together.

According to SamuelFrost4, the controller was built with Xbox One indie game Killer Queen Black in mind, which the two enjoy playing together, rather than the band (although they also admit they're a big fan of Queen). They say they put "a lot of time" into "formatting, retracing, and laser etching the art into the controller," while the artwork such as the bees, the cake, the snail and more were commissioned via an artist called Rebel Inks Art.

The colour choices were based on what SamuelFrost4 thought would engrave well. As for his wife? She was delighted with the finished product. "It was a surprise that I've had on the back burner for many months," he tells us. "But after I finally showed it to her, she loved it a lot."
