Here's an interesting one -- someone over at the Xbox One Reddit page has put a wireless charger inside their Xbox One S. Why? We don't know. But it's pretty fascinating anyway. This was shared yesterday by user Inkpuppet, who posted a photo of their phone charging on top of the system.
They also went on to explain exactly how they did it. After taking apart the Xbox, they made an existing hole bigger at the back of the console, took apart the wireless charger and put electrical tape beneath it, and then plugged it in the USB port at the back of the Xbox One. Here's a picture of it in action:
There was plenty of scepticism in the comments about the legitimacy of this photo, but Inkpuppet also shared an image of the back of the console, showing the extended hole and USB connection. As for whether it could destroy their Xbox, Inkpuppet says they're "pretty sure it won't", but if it does, they'll "just buy another one". Either way, we suggest you probably don't try this for yourself.
Would you like to see wireless charging incorporated for Xbox Series X? Let us know in the comments.
