Wingman Games are currently working on a "police simulator" title for PC and Xbox One, by the name of Police 10-13.
The game has been a part of Steam's "Greenlight" program for a little while, where it has indeed been greenlit by the community, and Wingman appears to have a long list of features that they want to make it into the final version when it launches in 2016.
An open world title built on Unreal Engine 4, Police 10-13 allows you to build your own cop, drive police cars and helicopters, set up road blocks and drop spike strips, test potential drink-drive suspects, call in SWAT support, respond to APBs, and a whole lot more. The developer even claims that K9 units will be in play, with police dogs roaming all over to find clues and evidence, as well as the ability to go undercover.
The game will launch on PC first, and then make the jump to Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program and hopefully, all of that will happen in 2016. A very early "work in progress" trailer has been released, and you can check it out below.

Soooo struggle hardline? XD
I hope this turns out well, because for some reason I'm really interested in this concept. Not sure why.
@DRL not sure we know of many games like this if any at all.
