Based on recent reports, it's possible that DC Universe Online, H1Z1 and even Planetside 2 could be coming to Xbox platforms.
Yesterday, our friends over at Push Square reported that Sony had sold SOE (Sony Online Entertainment), one of its main internal development studios, to the investment company Columbus Nova ,who then re-branded their new purchase as Daybreak Game Company.
The acquisition doesn't effect any titles already being developed for PlayStation 4, but based on tweets from John Smedley, President of Daybreak Game Company, and DCUO Creative Director, Jens Andersen, we could see some - if not all - of those titles also come to Xbox.
The official acquisition statement posted on the DC Universe Online Forum and the H1Z1 Reddit page also supports the possibility, stating that existing titles can "now fully embrace the multi-platform world".
So what exactly does this mean for you? It will be business as usual and all SOE games will continue on their current path of development and operation. In fact, we expect to have even more resources available to us as a result of this acquisition. It also means new exciting developments for our existing IP and games as we can now fully embrace the multi-platform world we are living in.
At the time of writing, no news regarding any ports has been officially confirmed, but based on the above, we don't see why it couldn't happen. There could also be potential for DC Universe Online and Planetside 2 regards Xbox's planned integration with Windows 10 and PC.
We think it would be great to see the likes of Planetside 2 on Xbox One. Don't you agree? Let us know in the comments!

I could dig that. Tried DCUO on PlayStation — didn't know what I was doing, but my hero looked awesome!
I would be extremely happy if DCUO came to Xbox One!!! I played it on PC back when it launched, but sadly had to stop playing due to a computer meltdown. All in all, I hope that this acquisition means that more MMO style games will be coming to the Xbox One.
