The Xbox Game Pass Perks program has returned with a couple more freebies in October 2023, including a movie in the form of 2013's Texas Chainsaw 3D! We're expecting more Perks to be added throughout the month as well.
Here are the new Xbox Game Pass Perks you can claim in October 2023 so far:
- Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis - October Monthly Member Bonus

- Smite - Season of Celebration Pack

- Texas Chainsaw - Free Movie (U.S. only)

All of these can be claimed on Xbox consoles or the Xbox app for Windows 10, and don't forget that some of September's Xbox Game Pass Perks are still available as well such as the Minecraft Realms Plus Subscription, EA Sports UFC 4 Customise Your Champions bundle, KartRider: Drift Lucci Loot Pack and much more.

I agree, I'm in the UK and would love a free movie from time to time. I don't understand why they can do it for the U.S but not other countries.
@The-Grezzly-Bear yea i’m in UK too - must be a licensing thing. To be fair in the UK we do get other benefits other countries seem to miss out on - I feel for those that don’t get MS Rewards.

Anyone know a loop hole to get the free movie??? Move to the US? Everyone moves to NZ (Where I am), it's only fair for me to move to the US and get a movie.
@The-Grezzly-Bear it could be something like they're only able to get (or, more likely, willing to pay for) the rights to give out films to US customers. Or it could be that it's easier to licence films to give out to just US customers because every country has different laws on what content films are even allowed to contain, what films are banned outright, etc; if Microsoft wanted to give out films to customers worldwide, they might run into a situation where they have to licence different films for different territories and they might deem that to be more trouble than it's worth.
