Topic: Gears of War Remaster - Preview Friends Assemble!

Hi guys!

Assuming you are lucky enough to be preview members (and if you're not, send me a FR and I'll invite you) then you should have a message inviting you to the Gears of War remake beta. Whos up for a few games? Sound off below!

And are we taking bets on how long it takes to devolve into a cover bouncing, roadie running Gnasher fest?

Never got into the Gears of War series but now that backwards compatibility is coming it's time to set that right!

I'm in, when possible!

Just a quick update. Non-preview members can access the beta by heading over to the Gears of War website and signing up. It's a simple process that requires you to log in via your Microsoft login details.

The Beta runs from 15th of June to the 23rd and is in a roll out phase. Once you sign up two codes will be sent, via the Xbox Live Message service, the first to download the game and the second to activate it. There appears to be some lag between recieveing the two codes but the word is that this is to minimise server load spikes.

I got the invite and GoW was quite interesting. Lots of evading involved but really fun
