Hello everyone,
I have a question to which I could not find an answer on the internet:
Is it possible to turn off the Bluetooth (or not activate it) between the Xbox Series S console and the controller?
I suffer from electrosensitivity and I would like to play ONLY using keyboard/mouse and joystick both connected by USB and therefore play without the controller
Thank you for your replies
@gderac There is an option to turn off the controller if you long-press the Xbox button on the controller I think. I've no idea if you can navigate the dashboard with KB/Mouse though, and also keep in mind that not all games are KB/mouse compatible .
@gderac If you connect the controller via the USB cable, all the data goes through the cable, Xbox Wireless is turned off and it's only on if you press the sync button, as far as I know. On second thought, if you turn on another controller, it gets connected automatically if it has been synchronised before, so I'm not sure how to turn Xbox Wireless off. Series S|X don't have Bluetooth, they use Xbox Wireless instead because it's better. The controllers support Bluetooth for connections with other devices. If you wonder what about WiFi, if you use an Ethernet cable, I'm almost sure that the WiFi scanning is off like on most consoles. You can set the console offline completely if you can't set an Ethernet connection for internet. It would be nice to have a "turn off Xbox Wireless" option because if you are using a cable, you don't need it.
