So I was surprised to jump back into Mortal Kombat 11 after a game of FIFA that it had to load from scratch. And I just tried bouncing between a few other games and it doesn't appear to be working on any titles at the moment on my Series X.
Anyone having similar issues or is it working ok for them still?
I still have it on most of my games. I think select title's it's removed from? No idea, it's all still 1M% faster than what i was experiencing on older consoles so doesn't really bother me.
I've had the Xbox set up since the 27th of December and only played Forza Horizon 4 on it and a few minutes of Cold War, both of which I bought physically, as I don't do digital.
However, when I power down the console, and go back to it hours later, or the next day or whatever, I expect it to still be where I left the game as it's supposed to do.
This so rarely happens though. I've read that I should be able to unplug the console for a week at a time and it should still remember where the game left off. Just concerned my Xbox is faulty. Anyone else having similar issues? Wondering whether to return the console or not.
Oh, and I don't have Xbox Live or anything, so being online should not be a factor.
Quick resume is really hit or miss. Why? I don't know? Is it a switch they can hit at XBox HQ?
Sometimes my AC Valhalla will QR for days in a row. Suddenly it will stop for many days and then will begin again with no input from me. I played Skyrim on the first day of it release to Game Pass and when I finally got back to it a week later, even after a total home power loss in between, Skyrim was on QR and started right up immediately.
It is a weird and strange animal. But I love Quick Resume when it works!
