So, I just ordered the Armor X Pro for Xbox Series controllers.
What is it?
It's an add-on accessory which plugs into your Xbox Series controller and serves as a battery pack, offers wireless connection with a dongle, has rear programmable buttons and, here's the kicker, an accelerometer for gyro aiming which maps to the right stick, and thus offers gyro aiming for any game. Not only that, the gyro works natively on Switch and PC, not just simulating the analog, so you can use an Xbox Series controller in Splatoon 3 with flawless gyro just like the Switch controller.
This is similar to how XIM Nexus controller achieves gyro for every game, except XIM Nexus is a separate controller, doesn't have rumble, but it does have more robust options in the app since it uses advanced translators to untangle the analog response curve, resulting in gyro that feels as good as true mouse gyro.
The Armor X Pro does have an app though, and does let you adjust the analog response curve, even if it's not as robust. How good the gyro will be for each game largely comes down to how the analog sticks are implemented which varies on a game by game basis. Max speed will be capped by max speed of right analog in the in game settings. But it seems many games translate very well to gyro using this.
