Topic: Your 1st Achievement?

As I'm sure we all know, the Xbox 360 was launched 10 years ago this week, giving us the first opportunity to earn achievements. To celebrate, the fine folks over at True Achievements have knocked a little page together that, if you are signed in, will tell you you what your first online earned achievement is!

Mine turned out to be the "Bottomed Out" achievement in Forza 3, which was for jumping a car 5 feet, on the very day I got my first 360!

So what was yours?

I got Stuntman in PGR 4 - Perform your first stunt on a bike, on 22nd Dec 2007

Pretty neat - my first cheevo was "Cluster Buster" in Hexic for a whopping 5 GS. Got that on 3rd December 2005... at the time I don't think I even realised what it was. Call of Duty 2 was probably the first game that compelled me to 'get 'em all'.

It seems that mine was Iceland Assignment Completed from Splinter Cell Double Agent 31/3/07. Although I don't think this is correct as I know I've had my 360 longer than that and I've completed things like Halo 2 and many others before this game was out.

@crippyd: Halo 2 didn't have any achievements

Mine was 28/11/09, almost exactly 6 years ago.

@crippyd: Halo 2 was an original Xbox game... achievements didn't come along until the 360 came out in 2005. The first 360 Halo game was Halo 3.

I know I got my 360 with games like Lost Planet and a couple of others and it was in 2005 as I was working in Essex at the time and I got it with a bonus from my company. I left that company in about early 2006 if I remember correctly.

@crippyd: I could be wrong as it was a long time ago but I got my 360 on launch day in November 2005 - I don't remember Lost Planet being a launch game. I think it came out during a dry spell the following year as I remember picking it up more out of desperation to have something new to play than anything else.

@stylon Seems my memory is getting old! Must have got the year wrong, it must have been 2006 I got mine then. I didn't get it at launch and Lost Planet was one of the games I bought with it. Thanks for keeping me right

@crippyd: lol no problem... my memory ain't what it used to be either but some things (especially queuing at the launch of a new console) stick.

I got my 360 with Forza 3 (yay!), Gears 2 (double yay!) and ODST (boo!)

I got mine with King King and Perfect Dark Zero. PDZ was a terrible game... and unbelievably stingy at giving out achievements. I never got a single one - mind you I never completed it because it was shite King Kong, although now looked upon as some sort of lady of the night, was brilliant. A proper movie/game experience and as it so happens it doled out all of its' achievements just for completing the story. At the time I was playing it I didn't really appreciate the achievements at all, they were just like messages saying 'well done for completing that level'. How naive I was back then

My 360 Elite console came with PGR4, Halo 3 and Assassins Creed. It's funny I didn't even play AC until three months later and it's now one of my favourite series. Was also the first game I 100% completed!

I thought mine may have been a boring or embarrassing one but according to TrueAchievements my first was

Vault 101 Citizenship Award10 (10) - Got the Pip-Boy 3000 from Fallout 3

I had thought it may have been something from Hexic or one from one of the Dorito's games (the dinosaur one) but I am happy that it opted to register Fallout first!

Black Eye on Halo 3 according to them. Not sure about that.

Dudebro? I am not familiar with this phrase, what does it mean?

And on this very day, 6 years ago, I became a proud Xbox owner/player....Seems like a long time ago!
