I enjoy working with Adobe  illustrator and creating vector based designs , some that I draw myself and scan in or create entirely Inprogram that can be used for T-shirts etc. the plan is to start a T-shirt printing business in the next few years and work for myself. I've also created posters, logos and brochures working freelance.

Another resolution for this year is to really amp up my productivity on the design side of things

Very cool, the difficulty of finding a position post graphics degree is prevalent here as well. It's a more competitive field than most know. I dabble in 3D animation with Blender, helped out on the last two shorts from the community, as well as Adobe After Effects with my home vidz. I've only had lessons online but pixel-pushing, it's a thrilling hobby! So long as you've the patience to slow time down to a 30th of a second

So...fitness inclined people...Is anyone up for some sort of challenge or joint venture?

I have 70lbs to lose (I know!) but due to various medical factors I'm being realistic and just gunning for 'as much as possible in time for my wedding'

I remember there was a fitness RPG floating about some time ago, or we could link up on myfitnesspal or similar? Or we could mock up some achievements for running/trips to the gym/sticking to calorie goals? I dunno...just throwing it out there

I am super competitive so that would help motivate me I think...

Also - Johnbhoy69 - leave retail immediately! I was in retail management for 8 years! Now I do a basic admin job for 20% more money, with better hours and workload/conditions...I'll never go back! Consider contracting.

I'm in!! I'm in the same boat – got a highly unreliable thyroid making life miserable, and spent most of the last year packing on miserable pounds. Knees don't like this at all, so I need to shed some weight.

And I agree with retail. I worked my butt off as a Sales Trainer; crazy amount of overtime, little appreciation and stupid hours. I lost it. I quit. Get out asap!!
