Not keen on those gamepass additions but deffo getting house of ashes
Gamepass have yet to announce their second half of October games, right? Either way, November has me sweating. Can't wait. Not to mention late September additions, and or course, this month has been all Back 4 Blood!
@UltimateOtaku91 yeah, me too. Love those games.
that liberation game sounds really cool
COOOOOOORPSE PAAAAAARTY YEAAAAAAAAAA
@Clankylad I've played the first two and they were both very good horror games, there's a lot of choices to make which effects the outcome of the game, there's also button prompts to press which if you miss could have some bad consequences (such as a character dying). Graphically they are very good and maybe had the best facial animation of last gen. Have you ever played heavy rain, beyond two souls or Detroit becoming human?
Also they are quite short games, probably around 3-4 hours long each one but because there's so many choices and outcomes you can replay the game and have a different experience/outcome
@Clankylad also the first one "man of medan" is on gamepass
Skul looked really interesting... only on XBox One!?
@Clankylad I’m assuming they’re very similar to Until Dawn, which I have played. The first time I played it I was by myself and I was terrified and had to stop — nothing deeply unsettling but a ton of a jump scares.
Eventually I played it “co-op” and we got through it and enjoyed it. It’s like a maybe interesting way to watch a cheesy horror movie. It’s fun that your choices affect who lives and dies, but some of those “choices” are QTEs, and it’s also really hard to guide your decisions... you make some choice and there’s no clear way to know what the consequences will be so if feels random. Sometimes the character explains the motive choice, and it’s not what your thought process was at all and that can break the spell.
I’d say a solid 6/10 and if there’s no horror movies you want to watch or games you want to play — if Until Dawn is anything to go by (and from what I’ve read, it is)— they’re interesting, really well polished and quite gripping at times, if only a bit shallow in the end.
Some of these games have been available for a while now, for example, Energy Cycle Edge
Echo Generation looks pretty neat. I'm looking forward to trying that one out.
I've already pre-ordered Disciples: Liberation, but I'm very tempted to pick up Toy Soldiers too as it looks very impressive. My poor, poor bank balance doesn't know what's hit it...!
Peppa looks good.
Their are a few titles on the list that interest me. Tony and Clyde , Echo Generation and Toy Soldiers.
Pretty cool to see Corpse Party on Xbox. Hope we get more XSEED games! Bring on the Cold Steel series please!
Disciples liberation is really good played about 8hours so far
