Lego 2K Drive (Xbox Series X|S)

Lego 2K Drive offers up a more family-oriented open world racing experience than something like Forza Horizon 5 and its aforementioned Rally DLC, but that doesn't mean it's not worth a play for seasoned Xbox racers. Back when we reviewed this one we noted that its RRP was a little on the high side, so naturally, we can recommend it a whole lot more at a chunky 50% off. Think open-world Mario Kart knock-off and you're about there - this one could be a great game to play with friends and family over the festive period.

Dead Island 2 (Xbox Series X|S)

Who doesn't like smashing zombie brains in when your big-brain decision to wait for a discount has absolutely paid off? Yep, Dead Island 2 finally debuted on Xbox this April after a long wait - and its Deluxe Edition is now 40% cheaper for those of you who took the time to wait just a little bit longer. It's a good ol' time this one - especially in co-op if you can convince a buddy to pick up Dead Island 2 as well.

The Crew Motorfest (Xbox Series X|S)

Ubisoft's third The Crew game hugely surprised us when it released in September - for the first time in series history this is a worthy competitor to Forza Horizon! Motorfest getting such a big discount this soon has also surprised us, with the base game now 40% off on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. What better way to celebrate the impending winter weather than a virtual trip to Hawaii?

Aliens: Dark Descent (Xbox Series X|S)

Aliens, darkness, and a descent into madness - what an iconic trio! Anyway, Dark Descent was a lovely strategic take on the Aliens universe by developer Tindalos, and we're on a nice hot streak with the IP after the also-great Fireteam Elite. If you prefer to slow things down and take a bit more time over your alien-blasting moves, we can definitely recommend giving this one a go - especially at 30% off an already-attractive price point.

Atlas Fallen (Xbox Series X|S)

Focus Home is making a comfy home out of the AA gaming space these days, and that extends to the team's recent action RPG Atlas Fallen. Another 8/10 from us here at Pure Xbox, Atlas Fallen was a great time - especially in the combat & platforming departments. At 35% off an August 2023 release you can't complain can you? This discount is definitely worth exploring if Atlas Fallen appealed to you at launch!

Immortals of Aveum (Xbox Series X|S)

Immortals of Aveum is a fun single-player shooter that's in the midst of getting some major updates on Xbox Series X|S. Its launch price was a bit steep for what you ultimately get, but this magic-based FPS is much more worth a look at 50% off. It's a next-gen-only Unreal Engine 5 affair too, so if you want to put your console through its paces, this is a decent way to do it.

Mortal Kombat 1 (Xbox Series X|S)

Mortal Kombat is immortal, right?! This long-running series is an ever-present force in the fighting scene, and Mortal Kombat 1 is no exception. The franchise's recent reboot is an Xbox Series X|S powerhouse, with great visuals, cinematics and sound design throughout. Oh, and did we mention, you can pick it up for 30% off just two months after release? Bargain!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (Xbox Series X|S)

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's much-documented launch troubles have largely been stamped out - leaving behind a brilliant solo Star Wars adventure crafted by developer Respawn Entertainment. If you've been waiting to play through the follow-up to Fallen Order this could well be your opportunity - as the base game is now 40% off on Xbox Series X|S. You'll be waiting a while longer for this one to hit Xbox Game Pass, so if your patience has ran out, you might as well get almost half off the price!

And there you have it! There are plenty more great discounts on offer within this sale, but we thought it worth highlighting these record-low prices on some of 2023's biggest games. It has been an amazing year for big releases after all!
