Welcome to the first weekend of June! If you're looking for ways to keep busy on Xbox over the next couple of days, we've got a bunch of new Xbox Game Pass titles to check out, three more Free Play Days offerings, and a fantastic Family Time Sale on the Xbox Store - although keep in mind there's an even bigger sale happening next week!
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

The only game that I definitely know I want to play this weekend is Street Fighter 6. I'm not a big fan of the fighting genre by any means, but SF6 caught my attention instantly, and the incredibly positive reviews have tempted me to get on board. It's going to require a lot of hand-holding, but hopefully the World Tour mode will help with that!
You know what else I'm planning to dip into? Let's Sing Queen. I know that's a bit of a strange one, but it's on sale for the first time in ages as part of the Xbox Family Time Sale, and I just can't resist belting out a few Queen tracks every now and again! I still think it's a lot of money for what it is, but I'm not sure I can resist picking it up...
Have a great weekend, folks.

I'll be busy wrapping up my top secret review of an upcoming Game Pass title this weekend - so be on the look out for that soon! Elsewhere, there are a few other games I'll be chipping away at over the next few days.
I just picked up Aliens: Fireteam Elite as part of the recent Super Saver Sale, so I'll be heading into some more of that this weekend. I really enjoyed it before it left Xbox Game Pass, so I thought it was worth adding to the digital library for £12 or so! Blasting away at Xenomorphs is just too much fun in this game.
Outside the world of Xbox, I might be playing a wee bit more PlayStation over the next few days. Sony has just unleashed a huge 'Days of Play' sale over there, so I think it's time to re-sub to PS Plus and tackle some of that library.
Enjoy your weekend, PXers!

Ahoy folks, this weekend I’ll be getting stuck into the dark and disturbed universe of Diablo IV. This time around I’m building a devastating, chonky, werebear druid.
Outside of my escapades across Sanctuary, I’m keen to check out Game Grumps’ new horror game, Homebody. I’m a long-time fan of the Grumps games, having dabbled in plenty of Dream Daddy (for roughly two years the Dream Daddy theme song was my ringtone!).
I’m also going for a little road trip this weekend, so best to pack my OLED Switch for the occasional Tears of the Kingdom session.
Happy gaming!

On my Xbox Series X, I'm working my way through Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I'm not very far into it, but that's largely because I'm preparing to jet off to an unspecified location for an unspecified gaming event next week, so my spare time is rather limited at the moment! I've completed a few main missions and I'm slowly but surely building up Mother Base. I suspect this one will keep me occupied for a good few months!

It’s going to be all quiet on the Xbox front for me this weekend as I think that I am finally, finally nearing the end of Tears of the Kingdom on Switch. Of course, by “end” I am talking only about the story, which frankly means that I have only done like, what, 0.4% of what the game has to offer? Let’s get this one rounded up to a neat 0.5% so I can feel like a real #ProGamer.
I’m sorry Xbox, maybe I will return to you one day once Link stops consuming my every waking moment…
What Xbox games are you playing this weekend? Let us know down in the comments below.

Tear of the Kingdom still. Think I’ll be playing this one for ages to come.
Started Diablo 4. My wife and I are lvl10 or 11. I’m playing Druid she’s playing Sorcerer.
Other than that not playing Halo Infinite but will be keeping an eye on HCS Dreamhack Dallas. Can’t believe Quadrant swept Optic in 3 games straight. There’s still today and tomorrow to go but that was pretty wow.
Diablo, Diablo, Diablo, Diablo
That’s Diablo 4 baby. Having a hell of a good time so far!
Have just downloaded Forza Horizon rally so giving that a blast. Also a bit of Cyberpunk.
And on the Switch Metroid Prime remastered.
Happy gaming.
On PS5 i will be trying to complete God of War Ragnarok according to my console it's says I'm 88% done so not long left now. I will also be playing some Humanity which is fun but also challenging especially if you want all those goldies.
On Switch it will be some more Zelda TOTK, Bayonetta Origins and Splatoon 3. Been playing splatoon a lot lately and it's starting to get to me now that they only rotate the stages evey two hours, with how fast matches are in this game playing the same two maps for two hours does get boring.
On Xbox I will playing some more Phoenix Point and Hi-Fi Rush
Finishing Gears 5's Hivebusters DLC. Might start Ravenlok.
Tears of the Kingdom is in the past since last weekend. I am now doing a first playthrough of Halo: combat evolved as part of the game club and Horizon zero dawn on PC.
XSX - Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer, it's a lot better than I expected
PS5 - Hogwarts Legacy
This weekend I’m still playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I had to take a four day hiatus since last Friday due to work and family obligations, but I was finally able to pick it back up yesterday, and I made some fun progress.
So far, I’m roughly 80hrs in. I’ve finally unlocked the entire base map and have completed all of the main dungeons/temples. I’ve gotta say - the temple in Gerudo Town was absolutely brilliant. I loved the entire quest line.
Regardless of the hours I’ve poured in, I’m still being surprised by little secrets here and there. In fact, I randomly found the auto-build feature, which in itself was a fun discovery. And with this unearthing, it brings forth two more quests that are extremely valuable to you.
Speaking of, I have fully upgraded my Purah Pad, found the last geoglyph I needed, and retrieved the Master Sword - a quest that simply gave me chills. I’ve also restored The Lost Woods and The Great Deku Tree, bested Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan, and unlocked all memories.
Now it’s time to fight Ganondorf, but before I do I’m going to spend more time in the depths and explore more mysterious things down there. I’m also planning on obtaining each domain’s prized weapon(s) by scouring for diamonds, and tackling side quests.
Overall, I’m simply blown away by how deep this game is, and how there are mysteries around every corner that continuously amaze me. Here is to another week of playing this masterpiece.
Pokémon Scarlet is still taking up most of my time but I plan on actually making an effort to beat the main game soon-ish.
Otherwise I have started playing Street Fighter 6 and it's pretty good.
I haven't really thought about much else beyond those two the last while, maybe will play more SpiderHeck if my friend is up for it.
I'm at the family cabin without internet so it's switch and steam deck only.
Switch - pokemon brilliant diamond
Steam deck - the walking dead season 1
On Thursday I rolled credits on Zelda: TotK. Of course I didn't do everything, but I don't plan on going back in until the inevitable DLC releases. Too many other games to play!
Yesterday I played through the entirety of Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath - Vengeance of the Slayer which was amazing in so many ways. It's a 5-hour comedic gross-out boomer shooter made by a fictional character from the game Hypnospace Outlaw. Being in my late 30s, I thought it was hilarious.
I also started up the System Shock remake yesterday, and got through the first level. This game is tough! The original is often credited as the grandfather of immersive simulations, and I can see how this game inspired the likes of Bioshock and Prey (2017), but it's not really an immersive sim in and of itself. The remake doesn't seem to have updated the old school design philosophy at all, for better or for worse. Looking forward to diving back in and running around with a very limited sense of where to go and what to do next!
Trying to get a handle on Madden 23. I love the sport but have never played a football game before and I’m not used to the Xbox buttons yet (X = A), which makes it a bit overwhelming. Luckily it has an extensive trial mode.
Moved into a flat with my wife after living with my parents for 32 years, so pretty much my whole life. Got so much to do barely have time to play any games right now, but I'll getting onto Cassette Beasts on Xbox, Mario Odysee on Switch, and Ratchet and Clank on PS5, maybe start on Last of Us 2 again seeing as I have a proper gaming monitor now
Still plugging away at Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, sadly it's going to get shelved before I finish it when Diablo comes out next week.
Diablo 4 courtesy of a generous friend. Feels just like Diablo 3 but with a much better/darker aesthetic and more of the same is fine by me! Also picked up Deliver Us Mars on sale.
Minimal gaming for me this weekend, as the weather is nice and there's football (soccer) to watch.
I had a look at Chorus the other day after the announcement that it's leaving gamepass on 15/6. Although I appreciate the beauty of it, it just wasn't for me. I'm also going to look at Mortal Shell & Maneater before they leave so may well get started on one or both of those tonight/tomorrow.
Happy gaming everyone 👍👍
Mostly Diablo 4. Only played for a few hours yesterday, but expecting longer sessions tonight and tomorrow. Playing as Necromancer. Looks like I dodged a bullet as well - I posted a few days ago saying I decided to get it on Series X rather than PS5 - and now I’m hearing that the PlayStation early access has had “invalid license” issues preventing people from playing…phew! Dodged that one! I was also pleasantly surprised with Diablo 4 that I didn’t have to do any of the usual Blizzard rubbish, like linking a battlenet account or even giving them my phone number, which I believe you had to do with Overwatch 2 (not played it myself).
@Lup I just completed Ravenlok and enjoyed it!
Probably do some mopping up of missed achievements on games in the library until I start Diablo on Tuesday.
@Zoidpilot4 congrats on the move, nothing more exciting than getting a place of your own.
I'll be continuing with Zelda (it's phenomenal) and finally starting RE8 on Xbox this weekend. Looking forward to it.
Street Fighter 6, and not much else.
@Jey887 thank you =)
Xbox Series X-- Diablo 4: Been waiting to play this game since it's announcement. Thinking of going with a werebear Druid this time around.
Penciling in some TOTK on Switch and MLB The Show 23 on X. both long term givens at this point. Picked up PS Extra for the first time. Playing Kena there and watching the daughter play Stray.
I really want SF6 but I dont want to spend the money.... yet.
That said, I FINALLY have some time to dive hard into Wo Long Fallen Dynasty and GD is it fun.
Well for me this weekend is a interesting one. Probably gonna skip a session of TOTK tonight and just dedicate a whole 5 hour session to the newly launched Street Fighter 6. I’ve been waiting for this game since the State of Play that showed it off for real last year and I’m just so happy it’s here. I can’t personally wait to play as my new favorite character the French model Manon. Tho I do wanna make some time for TOTK obviously but I think after this weekend it’s gonna go on the back burner. I think starting Monday I wanna tackle Fire Emblem Engage full time. I know some of these later chapters are long, annoying and difficult so I’m not exactly looking forward to it but I am looking forward to the story and the DLC. Otherwise it’s my birthday this week on the day of Summer Game Fest so I’m looking for two things. 1. Some really great and cool announcements there. And 2. Hopefully snagging a copy of Dead Island 2 from a family member for my birthday. Last year it was Horizon Forbidden West. On the anime front this week it’s some Hells Paradise, Mashle, Demon Slayer, My Home Hero and Café Terrace as usual. Happy Gaming y’all and have a great weekend.
Street Fighter 6 for me. And on Xbox, too. Time to start that grind to the top (or maybe the bottom lol)
Just don't have it in me to pull myself away from totk. Soon I'll check out planet of lana and some more cassette beasts.
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Edition.
There are three editions of Street Fighter VI, I'm still deciding which I get. More characters as DLC is never bad in a fighting game. I would love to know what those four that are joining this year are. There was a leak months ago and it was really accurate so I guess Nash/Charlie is not one of them and that makes me sad. I'm sure that we'll get more characters in 2024, though.
Street Fighter 6. My favorite game of the year so far.
Street Fighter 6. The first day 1 game I've bought since TLOU2. I'm certain I'll enjoy this a lot more.
Played a gooooooood amount of Diablo IV today. I'm now a level 34 werebear druid 😅
Living my best life!
Just playing a little bit of the unreleased Red Dead Redemption 2 Brothel DLC. It is way too realistic for its own good. You don't even want to know how I obtained it.
@ZYDIO tell me more
@Dusk_Actual Let's just say I had to perform a favor on...uhhh I mean for someone.
I’ve mainly been playing Boltgun. I’m playing on hard and it’s kicked my arse a couple of times so far and I’ve only just got to chapter 2 😂
But we’ve had rare amazing weather here in the UK recently so I’ve mostly been enjoying that.
Guess what Zelda TOTK. This game is so huge, easy to get lost in this awesome world full of fun things to discover and try, it's s almost hard to follow a quest without getting distracted by other quest or things you want to see or want to try or...
Hi there fellow gamers.

Tears Of The Kingdom, This game is a masterpiece..
Tears of the Kingdom. 35 hours in. Many many more to go.
