Welcome to the weekend! Obviously the big focus this weekend for us Xbox fans is the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday, but in the meantime you can raise your hype levels with lots of new content on your console including a variety of fresh Game Pass games, more Free Play Days titles and a massive Xbox Deals Unlocked Sale!
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

For me, it's definitely Assassin's Creed Origins this weekend. I haven't had a chance to dig into it properly yet, and I've not actually played an Assassin's Creed game since Syndicate, so I've really got a lot of catching up to do. I've heard Origins is a great place to start (again), and we gave it an "excellent" 9/10 rating on Series X in our review.
The other game I'm sticking with at the moment is Sniper Elite 5, which again is fresh for me because I hadn't properly played any of the Sniper Elite titles before this one. I'm really finding it a lot of fun so far (although I'd probably prefer even more of a sniping focus), so I'll be digging into our collectibles guide over the weekend!
Have a good few days, and enjoy the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday.

I'll be digging into yet more Forza Horizon 5 this weekend in the hopes of sweeping the map prior to Xbox's big showcase on Sunday. The rumour is that Forza Horizon 5's first expansion is coming soon, and I want to be ready for its arrival!
Elsewhere, I've been digging into the 360 catalogue recently, testing out all things FPS Boost. I tried some Gears of War 2 this week, and well, it still has a player base almost 15 years later! I might have to dig back into some Ranked Guardian this weekend then, ahh, the nostalgia.
Enjoy the weekend folks, and the Xbox showcase of course!

Final fantasy 7 on my Xbox. Think I'm nearing the end. It feels old in a lot of ways but the story is very good so I can look through that.
On my ps5 I'm playing Fist of the north star. A game from the makers of the Yakuza series. Not one of their best games but still highly enjoyable. Outside of that sweeping some missions here and there in Lego the Skywalker saga.
Spacelines from the far out , a nice stocking filler from game pass that for me turned out to be a big present
Vermintide 2 and probably Dying Light haven't played it in a while
Continuing to getting close to ending Sniper elite 5 and need to finish season 3 of f1 career
Finally finished Cyberpunk, that game turned into a slog in the end but enjoyed it nonetheless.
Needed something slower paced so knocked out Lake over a couple of days, nice and chilled game, but glad it didn't outstay it's welcome.
Now moved onto Cris Tales for a bit of retro style JRPG'ing. Only just started bit enjoying it so far
Recently started Chorus
Trying to get up a few leaderboards in FH 5 and it's appearance on the weekly rewards tasks has got Lost in Random off of my play later list.
@Kaloudz haven't played those yet. I only played 14 and 15. Always been more of a pc mmo player and really started to play more single player games this generation. Since I loved playing 14 so much I decided to try out the rest. Couldn't really get into 15, even though I like action combat generally something feels off in that game. I bought 7 to 10 on a sale recently and will play the others too later on
Age of Empires: Castle Siege (Android) - The offline workaround is very sloppy on here, progress has crashed twice on me so far.
iStunt 2 (Windows Phone) - Still playing here and there.
The Great Wobo Escape (Windows Phone) - Still not sold on this, but I will see it to the end.
@Kaloudz thanks for the extra info m8, seems I still have a lot of good stuff ahead of me. Will take a while before I'll finish them all since i generally differentiate between type of games I'm playing so will probably do a non jrpg game once I finished 7 and after that I'll probably play 8. I'll let you know if I start those and what I think about it
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, which is great so far.
Tried out Generation Zero with the guys last night. The game itself is just okay, but we were having fun with it anyway.
I’ve been playing Greedfall before it leaves game pass, and I’m really enjoying it a lot.
@Lavalera I love the ff games. Haven’t ever played 14 since I only have an xbox, but I want to finish playing all of them. I started 12 and that was something very fun.
Sniper Elite 5 and looking foward to Turtles Shredder's Revenge on game pass next week
I’m playing Sniper Elite 5 (Xbox Series X). I’m still having an absolute blast playing this game. I spend hours in each map scouring for collectibles and killing all enemies in stealth without being detected or forced into combat. Speaking of levels - the level designs provide so much freedom to complete objectives in any order you see fit; and exploring every nook and cranny will generally lead to optional missions, so it feels more organic than previous entries.
Ninja Gaiden Master Collection (Xbox Series X). I adore these games. In fact, I recall desperately wanting an OG Xbox because of the Ninja Gaiden reboot, and I was so thrilled as a kid when my parents surprised me with one. Despite a few camera issues, the trilogy holds up remarkably well, and it’s great to take a trip down nostalgia lane.
Currently playing Spyro Reignited Trilogy, After that depending what happends during the Xbox showcase, I plan on playing AC Origins
Back and forth between Assassin's Creed Origins and Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion with maybe some Gears of War Ultimate mixed in.
I started my second playthrough of RRD2 after it was released. I'm playing more evil and see how different things play out this time around. The level of detail of this game still remains unmatched.
Also i downloaded Chorus which I honeslty never heard about it and im absolutely loving it so far
I also played a bit of AC origins and immediately deleted it... I like it but i got my hands full with other games at the moment.
@Tsushima I can’t wait for TMNT Shredder’s Revenge next week. Thursday can’t come soon enough.
@Kaloudz In my opinion TW3 is a far superior game, I personally prefer the setting, characters etc.
However that's not to say that Cyberpunk isn't worth it, I completed everything and I clocked in around 120hrs ish, there is a lot of 'busy work to do' but without that I feel that the main game is rather short.
It runs well on my Series X and I came across a few bugs here and there but nothing game breaking.
I picked it up at around £20ish and for that price I'd say it's definitely worth it but did feel glad when I'd finished it.
Mobile: Diablo Immortal — Still plugging away at this one. Still really enjoying it as well.
Tabletop: Dungeon and Dragons — Continuing with my groups trek into Eislecross this weekend. We had a few weeks break due to job schedule conflicts but, it's time to get back to the game.
The only correct answer is whatever surprise drops happen tomorrow lol
Diablo Immortal on PC. Fun and light. Maybe too light, I’m feeling the need to jump back into something else soon.
I beat A Plague Tale Innocence and then started up Prey. Im going through some backlog while there’s nothing exciting coming out.
The Quarry for me
