Welcome to the first weekend of December! Things are going to start quietening down now on Xbox as we approach the new year, but we've still got a bunch of new Xbox Game Pass titles to check out this weekend, another selection of Free Play Days titles, over 100 new deals that have been added to the Xbox Store, and much more!
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

The only game that I've been playing on Xbox over the past week is Judgment, which I still haven't finished yet but I'm absolutely loving all the same. I haven't forgotten about Like a Dragon Gaiden on Xbox Game Pass, but I'd rather stick with this for now - and then probably move to Lost Judgment - and then finally I'll move on!
It's been a while since I've played Disney Dreamlight Valley as well, but with the 1.0 release taking place next week, I might finally dip back into it. Perhaps even a bit of Disney Speedstorm - I love that game, but I'm a bit burnt out on it...
Have a good weekend, folks!

This weekend I would love to get stuck into Remnant 2 since Xbox was kind enough to shadow drop it onto Xbox Game Pass for us - how thoughtful! Funnily enough, I’ve had the game since it launched but for one reason or another I didn’t end up playing it. Silly, I know! I’ve installed it onto the ROG Ally this time around though, so we’ll see how it goes.
It completely slipped my mind but I need to complete Final Fantasy IX this month (thank you for the reminder). Rolling the credits on FFIX is one of my 2023 gaming resolutions so I must get back into it. I’m much further through the game than I’ve ever been before, but with it being December already, I’ll need to hop to it if I hope to finish the job.
However, knowing me though I’ll probably just kick back with Vampire Survivors or Halo 3 ODST / Halo Infinite…
Happy gaming!

Okay, so we're all feeling the GTA VI hype, yes? I've been feeling it for the past week and have been diving back into GTA V as a result. It's not my favourite (IV still holds the crown), but it's such great fun just cruising around Los Santos. I'm not much for online play, so I'm quite content to just muck about in the Story Mode.
Elsewhere, I've actually recently picked up an Atari 2600+ console, so I'll be breaking out a few classic cartridges over the weekend to find out exactly what I missed out on when I, uh, wasn't alive. I'm already loving Adventure and Yars' Revenge; if you look past the primitive nature of the visuals and gameplay, there's a lot to enjoy.
