Around two months ago now, we started seeing reports that players were beginning to receive refunds for Redfall's cancelled DLC - which happened in the wake of Xbox closing down developer Arkane Austin. However, a new social media post has cropped up to suggest that not everyone has been that lucky, so we wanted to check in with the Pure Xbox community; are any of you still waiting on one of these Redfall refunds?
Twitter user Snap Blast PLAY took to the platform over the weekend to say that they still hadn't got their Redfall DLC refund after more than two months of waiting. While plenty of replies show that some Xbox users have indeed been refunded, there's also an alarming amount of responses out there claiming that no such refunds have hit their accounts yet.
There's some mixed results around then, it seems, and we hope that those who are still waiting for this refund get it very soon. To be honest, a two month wait for refunds on DLC that was never even properly revealed feels a bit egregious to us - we're hoping Microsoft sees this sort of thing online and remedies it ASAP.
At least fans got one final major patch for the game in the wake of this studio closure earlier in the year. To begin with, we were led to believe that support for Redfall would be dropped straight away - but thankfully, Arkane Austin got the time to put out one final update that it had been working on for months at that point. Offline play and 60FPS put the game in a much better place than at launch!
