It's been doing the rounds lately that Xbox's 2021 open world racer Forza Horizon 5 has hit 30 million players according to the game's leaderboard, so we thought we'd load it up and have a quick check.
As you can see up above, the in-game Hall of Fame leaderboard has indeed ticked over to just above 30 million players, roughly 18 months-or-so on from the game's launch. This seems like an impressive total to us, and we'd like to congratulate the team over at Playground Games for hitting this huge milestone.
When loading the game back up, we naturally had a bit of a cruise around and quickly realised that we'd fallen off playing FH5 lately. There are some cool looking cars in the current Festival Playlist though — including some brand-new to the series — so this may have just prompted us to get back into the swing of things for a little bit.
Having said that, where do you sit with Forza Horizon 5 these days? Are you still playing it? Did you pick up the recent Rally Adventure expansion to push you back into playing Xbox's open world racer?
