This weekend, we've been taking a browse at some of the great deals available on the Xbox Store until next Tuesday, and we're particularly enticed by three Tomb Raider classics from the Xbox 360 era that are reduced by 85% each.
These three games are Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld, all of which are just £2.24 / $2.99 to add to your Xbox collection. The one catch is that you need to be an Xbox Game Pass member in some form to get this discount, otherwise they'll all still show up at full price.
It's been a big 2024 for Tomb Raider on Xbox in general, especially considering the modern trilogy is now available on Game Pass in its entirety, so we're excited to go back and check out these Xbox 360 classics all over again.
But which is the best? For the Xbox owners out there who have never played any of these three games, would you recommend them at this price, and which would you suggest starting with first? Come and tell us down below.
Tomb Raider: Legend

I played Legend when it was released on Gamecube. I liked it, but the gameplay is a bit rough, the controls have some lag. I played Anniversary on Xbox One when it was available and Underworld recently. I think that the best one is Underworld, then Anniversary and finally Legend. Underworld has some annoying sections like the others, but it's an excellent game. It's a pity that FPS Boost is not available for these titles. It would make them much better. I still have to play the remastered trilogy, but I think I'm going to like that the most.
Played each of them at launch on the 360, I'd rank 'em:
1. Underworld
2. Legend
3. Anniversary
All great games, even at full price they're worth a shot, at the sale price, easy recommendations.
I recently finished Legend and started Anniversary and Underworld. I'm not enjoying the last two as much as Legend, I feel it lacks personality and humor, and they change the controls a little bit between games. Underworld feels a little dead, Lara barely talks so far and the environment can get really dark.

Not to be a party pooper but none of them I’m afraid. I played all three and struggled to gravitate towards any. They’re not bad for what they are, especially at that price. But they’re in a weird middle ground where they’re not as charming as the originals or as interesting as the reboot trilogy.
@Yousef- i was atleast able to beat the reboot games , but i never beat underworld because i got stuck , i dont remember what part it was or why i was stuck but it was enough for me to quit , so yeah that sucks
These are the only Tomb Raider games I have played. Have to try the others.
I wish the DLC for Legend would go on sale 😤

I'd highly recommend the 360 version of Underworld for anyone who hasn't played them, as I believe it's still the only version that has the two DLC-episodes, which both are good! Therefore making Underworld 360 the definitive edition of the game, just like how the console version of Prince of Persia beats the PC version as it has the exclusive epilogue DLC.
Legend
I remember playing the demo for it on PS2, and then the OG Xbox and being blown away by how much better it was than the PS2 version and then the 360 demo came out and had all these HD normal map textures that the original Xbox couldn't even touch

Tomb Raider Legend. While I enjoyed all of the 360 releases, Legend is head and shoulders above the rest with the overall handling of the character. Still one of my favorite TR games.
