A couple titles worthy of looking at.
For anyone that still hasn’t bought The Witcher 3 now’s the time! Not only do you get both expansions, but in a few months you’ll also get the free next-gen upgrade.
I see Cyberpunk is on sale for £25. Though you can get a physical copy for that price or lower easily, and even less second hand...
Borderlands 3 and all the DLC are on sale. I have really been enjoying it. Getting warmed up for Tiny Tina next month.
@Nightcrawler71 I was looking to buy it again for the Series X optimisation in case it goes up in price, but after a big clean, I found my old Xbox One edition. I thought I had sold it after I sold my Xbox One (I switched to a PS4 back then), but turns out I still have it, and in all it's Steelbook glory!
My suggestions:
The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition (I haven't played it yet because of the X/S upgrade)
Team Sonic Racing
Crash Team Racing
Hotshot Racing
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (unless you have a DS or 3DS)
Monster Hunter World: Icerborne Master Edition (plays great on Series X)
Okami HD
Sonic Colours Ultimate
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition / Ultra upgrade (they are rarely on sale)
I'm on the fence. Open to suggestions:
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
Shenmue I & II (I have never played them so I don't know...)
@Banjo- does Team Sonic racing have a good single player mode/campaign?
@Nightcrawler71 not really. It's average at best.
@Nightcrawler71 Yes! It's called Team Adventure. It's quite funny and even has a few tracks not included in Grand Prix which is weird because there are a few tracks repeated in Grand Prix. The game is Xbox One X-enhanced, 60fps 4K, flawless on Series X, almost flawless on Xbox One X.
Hmmmm that Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate is tempting......
@Banjo- I played and loved Shenmue I and II back in the day on Dreamcast. I also played them recently and oof, they haven't aged well. It's awkward and halting to say the least. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, however, is tons of fun, and great value for the money.
@nofriendo Thanks! Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom looks great.
I am eyeing Mafia Trilogy and Life is Strange TC. anyone who has played these already? open to feedback and opinions.
