Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 5-6)

Bobarino

@darkswabber I got lost in the fourth idolasphere in TMS and dropped the game. I need to get back to it. I really like the combat and the game was fun.
I enjoy playing on switch a lot more than WiiU. The novelty of using the gamepad to get texts wore off really quickly there, especially since I preferred using a pro controller.

Re: Xbox Fans Go Viral With Heartwarming Series X Reaction At Christmas

Bobarino

I was poking around on the xbox store a couple weeks ago and saw that the add to cart button was active for the halo edition series x. I couldn't belive it, so after a moment's hesitation I added it to the cart but it kept erroring out when I tried to check out.
I looked again the next day, but the button was grayed out.

Re: Cat Ears Have Some Players Worried About The Future Of Halo Infinite

These customizations are destroying the aesthetic of the game. It feels like they're burning the house down to make some fast cash.
They're going to chase the diehards away with this crap. Who will be left once the novelty has worn off and people move on to the next hot f2p shooter?
I personally don't like infinite mp at all. To me it's a big drop in quality from halo 5 so I won't be around to see it happen..

Re: Reaction: Looking Back At An Excellent First Year For The Xbox Series X|S

Bobarino

I was holding out for a series X but saw that the series S was in stock a few months ago, so I got one. I love it.
The fast boot and load times are awesome, but the real winner for me is the HDR enhancements. Old (and not so old) games look and run great.
For me it's been a worthwhile upgrade even though I have yet to play a next gen game on it. Of course, that'll change on Dec 8.

Re: Assassinations Won't Be In Halo Infinite At Launch

Bobarino

I don't care if they make me vulnerable, I love assassinations. Especially when they're followed by 'retribution '.
I just hope they're like halo 4, where the type you got was based on your attacking position and not those stupid cards in halo 5.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy An Xbox In 2020?

Bobarino

No new Xbox for me this year. My plan now is to pick up a series X next Christmas.
I did buy a PS4 this summer but I returned it two days later, so not counting that.
I also took my og xb1 apart, cleaned it out and put in an ssd this year, replaced the fan in the power brick too, so I don't mind waiting another year.

Re: Anime Rail Shooter Gal Gun Returns Cancelled For Xbox One

Bobarino

This is too bad. Xbox needs more Japanese games and unfortunately, I think games like this are part of the deal.
This may end up being a cautionary tale for other developers. They had the game developed and ran into problems with Microsoft during the final ROM review.
I wouldn't blame other developers if they continue to avoid Xbox.

Update: I just watched trailers for these games on steam and I feel dirty.....
I had watched one for switch about a year ago so it wasn't fresh in my mind.
I want to see more JRPGs and creative / unique games from Japan on Xbox, but they can keep this crap.

Re: Xbox Series X To Offer "More Choice, Value & Variety Than Any Console Launch Ever"

Bobarino

I love that they're doing this. They've had games across console generations, but smart delivery is a game changer. Plus being able to enjoy launch titles on my OG Xbox One will be nice.
That being said, I've lost interest in Halo and have moved towards JRPGs. And even though there are a good number on Xbox, the Atlus games can all be found on Playstation. I may end up going w/ Sony this gen. Of course I'd rather just have more Atlus games come to Switch...
