With E3 around the corner, we're looking back at many of years of fantastic game announcements. Those moments where we've leapt in the air when a game we'd been hoping for finally gets the green light for the public to see it. From the incredible initial reveal of Halo Infinite, to the tantalising tease of Elden Ring - each year has been full of surprises.
But can you remember E3 2019 from the events of E3 2003? There's been that many that it's all sort of blended into one. As we look back, we want to test your knowledge and see how much you remember. Have you been paying attention?

Got 11 out of 15. Not too bad considering the majority were educated guesses based on when the games came out.
9/15, not bad. Knew some of them but there were a fair amount of guesses by subtracting 2 years from the release year.
I miss the reveals like Rare Replay where you don't know its coming and then suddenly announcement and release a few months apart. Nintendo has managed to master the balance of the timing between announcement and release date in the Switch era during Directs.
The best E3 shows ever are when Miyamoto dressed up as Link in 2004 to announce Twilight Princess, which I consider a perfected The Legend of Zelda game and one of my favourite games ever, and when Microsoft announced backwards compatibility and Rare Replay in 2015. Is it too much to ask for a new Banjo-Kazooie game for Series S/X? Please.
This was actually horrible and made me feel super old...
In my head games like Rare replay and Watch dogs are actually quite new... Wow I got old.fast
5/15 oof. Though I was only off by a year on most of the ones I got wrong. Still wild we're only a couple weeks away!
9 of 15 with every wrong answer being only a year out except for Lego which was out by 2
4/15, But c'mon how the hell are you suppose to remember all that lol..
Hmm ,5 out of 15. Had to guess everything except Halo.
4/15... possibly the worst I’ve ever done ha
6/15
In my defence I've never really paid that much attention to Xbox and only watched a few of their E3 shows.
6 - the rest were one year out !
14/15. I have to say, I'm pretty good with remembering when games were announced and released.
5 of 15 and very quickly.
