As we rapidly approach the month of October, we've got some server shutdowns on Xbox to talk about! Fortunately though, it's a very small list as things stand, with just two games set to be affected across October and November.

The big one for all Xbox consoles here is Rocket Racing, which is a game that's available to play inside of Fortnite. This combination of Rocket League and a traditional racing game officially goes offline on October 1st of 2026, and soon as the server shutdown happens, you won't be able to play it in any form. Boo!

The other game here is Call of Duty: Warzone, which is specifically shutting down for Xbox One and PS4. The servers will be closed whenever Season 1 begins for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which will either be in late October or early November. Either way, Warzone will no longer be playable on Xbox One consoles very soon.

Here's the full list of two Xbox games shutting down their servers in October & November as things stand:

  • Rocket Racing (October 1, 2026)
  • Call of Duty: Warzone for Xbox One (Late October or early November 2026 - TBD)

Beyond these, we need to reiterate that the servers for Sociable Soccer 25 are still set to close this month on September 28th, and the Xbox 360 version of Toy Story 3 is getting delisted on the 29th ahead of the upcoming remaster.

The rest of the calendar looks pleasantly bare at this point, although there's every chance we'll get more server closures out of the blue as October and November roll on. We'll be sure to let you know if anything major gets added to the list.

For now, maybe go and play Rocket Racing for the final time before it gets taken away, and the same goes for Warzone on Xbox One if you still have it - although unfortunately that one was delisted for new players a few months ago.
