Xbox Fan Somehow Manages To Buy A Prototype Of The Elite Series 3 Controller

We were shocked back in May when the Xbox Elite Series 3 Controller appeared to have leaked out of nowhere via a Brazilian regulator, and the same thing has happened once again this week - although this time via an Xbox fan.

This comes from a since-deleted Reddit post, although the evidence has been floating around social media ever since it was first shared last night. It includes multiple images of the controller, which are similar to the photos from May.

The person who posted these images originally shared more information about the controller itself, but all their comments have since been removed. As far as we know, they weren't able to get it to actually function in any form, and they seemed quite confused about what they'd managed to buy in the first place.

A few people on social media are doubting that this is actually the Xbox Elite Series 3 Controller, but it does seem to line up with the leaked images from May for the most part - with the only notable differences being that the d-pad has a different style to it, and the images from earlier this year clearly showed two scroll wheels on the bottom as well.

There's a chance this is actually the final design, or at least an updated version of the design we previously saw via the Brazilian regulator. In any case, here's hoping Xbox will have an announcement to share about it in the near future.
