Already bought like 12 games last night.
I recommend Wildermyth to anyone who likes SRPGs.
Not much of a discount on that one, but amazing game. Tried it before on PS4 but I wanted it on Xbox.
I just beat Silksong and it was easily a 10/10 experience. Random internet guy recommended.
I think it's time I jump on Cronos. Haven't even finished my Silent Hill 2 playthroughs for all the endings, but, its calling to me.. if you told me a month ago I was going to actively be interested in Bloober games I'd have told you that you were insane...
Also, could the article be updated to include the date this sale ends? Thank you!
@Lup I had to do a double take, I thought Wild was an RTS. I've tried hard to play that genre and just can't. (Anyone who can, I am in awe of you.)
That said, while I don't know if I'm buying it now I AM wishlisting it. Thank you for the recommendation
@Elbow
I plays kinda like a simplified XCOM 2. You move turn-based in a grid and use cover to reduce damage.
You level up and gain new abilities and weapons.
It's kinda like a Dungeon and Dragons adventure (it has that feel) but it plays closer to XCOM than anything DnD.
You also create your own characters.
It's challenging but you can choose the difficulty.
I really liked it! I would say check some gameplay just in case!
The closest to RTS is moving in the overworld? But battles are ALWAYS turn-based.
@Elbow I played through Cronos a few weeks ago and it's one of my favorite games this year. Wasn't really scary but it was incredibly atmospheric and tense and it was just so good. I might go back and play it on NG+, but I hope they release more content for it. I actually ended up getting a couple of Bloober's earlier games because of Cronos, Observer and Medium. Almost done with Medium
I have Medium, haven't played it yet. How would you rate it? I used to depise Bloober, but SH2 genuinely turned things around as much that it's like a new company just using the old name.
I've always wanted to play Dying Light. But I always hesitate on buying it.
It seems like baldur's gate III will never go lower than $52. Ugh.
@VeganH Maybe not. However at that price it's about 43p (or 52¢) per hour 👍
@BustedUpBiker 😆great cost to hourly fun ratio.
A bit like Playstation they seem to be the same games over and over on sale would love to see more Xbox 360 games on sale and original Xbox games come to the store. I've been building my collection up a lot recently
