Stalker 2 Dev Unveils Plans To 'Evolve' Xbox Game Pass FPS

At the tail end of last year, developer GSC Game World dropped a big old roadmap for the future of Stalker 2 in 2025 - and today it has another lengthy message for fans as it plans to evolve the Xbox Game Pass FPS throughout the year.

To cut to the chase, the team says that so far this year it has had "two major updates and multiple hotfixes rolled out, building on last year’s patches" and that as we move further into 2025, it will "deliver updates and hotfixes dedicated to making the game better in every aspect".

Here's that message on social media, including a handy checklist of what's coming later this year:

It's good to see more tweaks inbound for the game's A-Life system in here, alongside new content in the form of fresh weapons. We're also still keen for that next-gen patch to arrive for Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - although it now looks like this isn't scheduled for a few months yet.

Still, there's a lot being planned here to say that this is just the 'Q2' roadmap from the Stalker developer, and despite an incredibly rough launch on Xbox Game Pass, you can't fault their efforts in bringing Stalker 2 up to scratch on Xbox.
