FragPunk Officially Has A New Release Date For Xbox Series X|S

FragPunk was originally supposed to release for Xbox back in March, but ended up getting delayed indefinitely - and in that time, it's gone on to be a popular release on Steam, although admittedly its fanbase has dropped off since launch.

Anyway, we've got an update! FragPunk will be with us on Xbox before the end of the month, and in addition to crossplay and cross-progression support, console players will be getting free in-game gifts to make up for the delay.

We're coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 with crossplay, cross-progression, and special launch gifts for console players. Thank you for sticking with us—let's break the rules, together.

FragPunk's Xbox release date is officially now set as April 29th, 2025. It'll be a free-to-play game on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S when it launches, so you won't need to pay anything in order to give it a try.

In terms of what you can look forward to, this is a 5v5 hero shooter where the big twist is that you can use over 150 "Shard Cards" to alter the gameplay and ensure no two matches are ever the same. It has a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam as things stand, and that's based on over 33,000 user reviews.

We'll throw a few screenshots for FragPunk down below, along with the game's description:

FragPunk is a thrilling 5v5 hero shooter where Shard Cards allow you to break the rules of combat and ensure that no two rounds are ever the same. Get ready to unleash your skills!
