It looks like the return of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater really is upon us. Following a skater's comments recently and then a countdown timer popping up on the official game website, Activision's social channels have now broken their silence with another teaser.
It shows a picture of Tony Hawk with a bunch of other famous pro skaters, and in the background is the date of 03.04.25 - once again teasing a reveal. Attached to this is also a new message "loading.. new parks".
This is obviously open to interpretation, but when you consider the ongoing rumours about the possible return of the third and fourth games in some way or form, it's all starting to come together.
The countdown page on the official Tony Hawk game website also appeared to confirm developer Iron Galaxy (Killer Instinct) is involved with this new project. While you wait, you can play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 right now on Xbox Series X|S, it's even on sale in select regions.
When there's another update about all of this, we'll be sure to let you know.

The new parks statement makes me think it's not a 3+4 remaster. Weird to say they're new if it's a remaster/remake.
Not that I'm complaining if it IS 3+4. Just a bit of odd wording. I love these games, and I hope we eventually get a THUG1+2 compilation. The new blood needs to learn just how much Eric Sparrow sucks.
Well guess its not a remaster of 3 and 4 otherwise they wouldn't say new parks. Kinda of disappointed by that but at least I still got my OG Xbox with a copy of THPS3.
A new game would be amazing give it a campaign like American waste and the later games!!
Fun times ahead on that game!
Perhaps it's a new game entirely, then? With the 3/4 remaster accompanying the game as a pre-order incentive? I agree with the above, saying "New Parks" is not something you would say when it's a remake / remaster - unless it is a remake / remaster and new parks have been added?
@Kaloudz I was curious and did a little more nosing around about it, looking at the countdown HTML page says "thps-3-4-countdown"
...which could still just be related to the day it's being announced, but the date itself is not at all subtle. Either this is a kind of mean prank on remaster hopefuls or it is just 3+4.
God I just remembered THPS3 was the last N64 game ever released. Time is accelerating way too fast.
@Kaloudz
I bloody well hope not.
@Markatron84 Lmao - Call of Duty MW Remastered style O_o Man I can smell the backlash already and this is just a speculation lol.
@Elbow Haha! Time isn't kind to anyone :/ Hitting a new decade this year I am. As for the date, I thought that myself back when it was teased in CoD - It's a sick joke for fans of 3/4 if this isn't it - but could be the remaster with new parks added, maybe? I guess we don't have that long to wait to find out.
Please please please be the 3 + 4 remakes activision! You know it’s what everyone wants. I’m hoping the date format of 03/04 is the giveaway here…maybe new parks is just a hint at some new levels which are not in the originals.
A bit off topic but the rewards points from logging into the Xbox app on the daily are gone for me today!!
Anyone else having that problem?
@Ricky-Spanish Nope. I got mine fine. Got mine from logging in to the rewards website (streak), from the searches, from the phone app, and everything between.
@Kaloudz I just checked there I got a notification to log into the app for daily streak logged in but nothing about rewards on the app anymore but I somehow still got the points for logging into the app maybe it's a glitch or something just weird though
Very cool. I'm glad to see the series isn't completely dead.
Woohoo! Super excited about this. I was 26 when the first game came out and played it till the disc was worn 🤣
Tony Hawk games always bring a huge sense of nostalgia and good times from back in the early days. Can't wait for this...
@Ricky-Spanish How odd. What phone are you using? iPhone?
