There's no doubt that the Sonic The Hedgehog movie franchise has turned out to be a massive success, and the latest film (Sonic 3) seems to be doing better than ever - which has even made ripples in the world of Xbox as well.
Looking at the "Top Paid" Xbox charts in both the UK and the US right now, there are five different Sonic games featured in each of them. The recently released Sonic X Shadow Generations is charting the best, which SEGA will surely be particularly happy with, while Sonic Origins Plus is doing especially well in the UK thanks to a big 60% discount.
Both of these are games are part of the "Last Chance" sale that officially expires later today, January 13th:
In terms of games that aren't on sale though, a bunch of Xbox 360 titles have suddenly appeared in the Top Paid charts. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 are in the top 100 in both the UK and US, while Sonic Unleashed is only a little further behind. As mentioned, these are not on sale, but they're at least available at very reasonable prices.

You can go further back and find more, such as Sonic Colors: Ultimate which is also on sale right now, but you get the gist - the success of the movie has resulted in some fantastic Xbox sales for SEGA over the past few weeks.
In terms of recommendations, you can't really go wrong with anything we've mentioned here - the new Sonic X Shadow Generations is a blast, the Xbox 360 games are all great nostalgia hits, and Origins Plus is a cool collection of classics.
Just remember that you've only got until the end of the day to take advantage of the discounts if you're keen!

Shadow Generations was absolutely phenomenal. If you like Sonic games at all, play that one. It's just so good.
Shadow Generations is my favourite 3D platformer of last year and I'd love to see them remake Sonic Adventure 2 in its engine.
Oh no. How many of those buyers are people who've never played Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 before? Those poor unsuspecting fools.
Probably wise to pick up the Adventure games given SEGA nuked all those other retro games last month, the fact these games are already delisted in countries like Germany and Italy, and likely the whole Live and Learn lawsuit.
Absolutely love Sonic but I’m not surprised with how many games have been brought out over recent years and also like the article states, This new movie has definitely no doubt helped also.
@Markatron84 I love the first adventure but I recently tried to replay sonic adventure 2 and oh man is it just absolutely terrible
@Reptilio SA2 has its moments; the Sonic/Shadow sections are mostly alright and the Knuckles/Rouge sections aren't unbearable.
SA1 is terrible.
