Following on from another Crash-related Game Pass rumour earlier today, Xbox has officially announced that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is coming to the Game Pass library on December 4th!
Yep, you can take to the wheel in this remastered PS1 classic on Xbox Game Pass this Wednesday, playable across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The team has surprise announced this addition in the past few hours, with a fun little video to boot:
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled features classic Crash-themed kart racing, across a variety of tracks in both single-player and multiplayer - with online play a brand-new feature for the remake. CTR Nitro-Fueled also contains a bunch of courses from the game's OG Xbox sequel; Crash Nitro Kart.
As we mentioned at the top of this article, we actually got another Xbox Game Pass rumour for Crash earlier today - but that one stemmed from Crash Bandicoot 4 popping up as Game Pass compatible on Amazon Fire Stick. We've not heard anything official on Crash 4 yet, but it may be worth staying tuned, considering CTR Nitro-Fueled is now arriving later this week.
Excited for this one, Game Pass racers? Tell us your speedy overtaking plans down below.

Ooh nice, expected Crash 4 but actually not excited for this!
If we're also getting Crash 4 soon, this s giving me more hope we'll see those Transformers projects and or just a big drop of old Activision games in general this month.
Part of me feels like they are deliberately drip feeding the abk games but on the other hand they have released spyro and now this during what has already been one the best 45 day stretches in gamepass history.
One of the most addictive games I've ever played. Love it!
I would love this game, if the AI of the other racers wasn't so unfair in the single player mode. Plus the drifting mechanic is kinda odd.
This game was fun the first few months but the original is better. they botched this remake.
I love this game, one of the best in the genre (the best is Diddy Kong Racing).
Would be nice if they got these games up to 4K via the backward compat program
Surprise, I already bought it 5 years ago and still have it physical in my PS4 collection.
Bought it in black week back then at Gamestop together with a 2nd controller.
@Markatron84 Hahaha that's it bro
I think this means we're best friends now ha

I've been looking forward to this game!
@Banjo- man, I canโt believe this competes with Diddy Kong Racing (And thanks for giving me nostalgia from just reading that name).
Iโve got to try this out.
Nice addition. Fun game. Enjoy.
Is this still running at 30fps? If so, I'll pass. When you've got Mario Kart 8 (2014/2017), Team Sonic Racing (2019), and Disney Speedstorm (2023) all running at 60fps, it just feels off to have not had an update for this game when the console hardware could clearly support 60fps.
@Ricky-Spanish we're the Pure Xbox comments section's official bromance.
@Markatron84 This cannot be denyed bud๐ช
