It's broken for me again, just like last year. It claims I played a total of 3 games for a combined 3.5 hours this year. I think that is exactly what i played yesterday.

It says I unlocked 600 achievements so at least it was a productive 3 hours.

I am in the top 1% for gamerscore and achievements.

Not surprising BG3 got the top spot. What did surprise me was how little I have played on my Xbox this year. That will probably change when Indy, Avowed and more drops.

I knew Little kitty would be up there because I was saving up for MS reward points in time for CoD so would turn it on for 15 mins a day to get my weekly bonus. I think I actually played it for about an hour total and certainly didn’t think I’d rack up 17 hours AFK time 😂

My year in review is i bought an xbox, then found out after I got home that it has to be tethered to an always on internet connection to register an Xbox account to even work. Otherwise it's a paperweight. And playing offline games required scrolling thru the menus and watching a YouTube video on how to play xbox games offline. So my stats are very few hours played on my former xbox. I returned it and bought a ps5 instead. For ps5, all I gotta do is put the disc in and it works, I can play offline with or without internet. Who's the ignorant person at xbox that insisted on consumers registering the xbox online, otherwise it won't even work? At least put a warning label on the package stating it. I wanted to like xbox but myself and millions of other gamers have chosen playstation and nintendo consoles over xbox. Playstation is straightforward and just works, but not xbox. Ps5 has outsold xbox 2 to 1. Get rid of the internet connection requirement xbox. I really want to know who at xbox was responsible for that decision????

@GeeEssEff I turn Solittaire on for 15 mins a day to get the PC game reward...82 hours and only 3 achievements later, hahaha. Maybe I've left it on longer than 15 mins a few times...

Get rid of the internet connection requirement xbox. Many physical games I purchased cannot even be installed on the xbox hard drive without xbox saying an internet connection is required to complete instalation. That is so infuriating.

I have 1039hrs played but goat simulator 3 is my number one game because of my daughter with 200hrs.
After that it's eafc 24 I swore off during the summer because of the stress on 177hrs then the call of duty launcher 106hrs Elden Ring was next but don't know how many hours!
My daughter really has taken over my Xbox this year ha!

It describes me as ‘turn-based tactician’ which delights me.

My most played games were 7 Days to Die, Fallout 4 (I must have put more hours into the updated version than I remember!) and Baldur’s Gate 3.

I played for 1,006 hours, all on Series X. I’m in the top 3% for time played and the top 1% for gamerscore and achievements. I earned 66,474 reward points and spent 59,800 of them..

Pretty cool how it shows Rewards Points for the year. In the US, at least, it blows the argument out of the water that you can't earn a lot of points. I'm sitting at 194,963 earned in 2024.

Didn't even get mine last year because it was hardly switched on. This year has been a lot different.

I had a lot of fun on Xbox this year!

It seems that I took a break from Fortnite and Sea of Thieves that have been on top previously.

Got about 1000hrs total and almost half of it is from playing Throne and Liberty 😋

A total of 1950 hours played (which is an average of just over 5 hours a day!).

1. Baldur's Gate 3 with 332 hours played. Top 10% of players.

2. Gears 5 with 186 hours played. Top 2% of players.

3. Dragon Age: Veilguard with 153 hours played. Top 5% of players.

Best achievement Rite of Passage in Gears 5, unlocked by just 0.17% of players.

14450 gamescore. 765 hours. 15 min daily for either Vampire Survivors or MS Solitaire. Sometimes, I forget one of those is running in the background.

I’ve only earned 65,500 and I do pretty much everything I can like daily, weekly, monthly in rewards tabs barring play a PC game for 15 minutes, bing searches, MS Edge searches and it’s daily set and activities, logging into Xbox app daily and playing Jewel. And here’s you with 100K+ more lol

@MaccaMUFC I have 179,219 points this year, I don't think I could have made anymore. I have a touch of OCD I'm sure. I think the area you come from makes a big difference in points you can earn. I'm from the UK.

@johnK I’m in UK too. Other than doing everything I’ve listed to earn points what else are you doing to earn 100K more? I’m really curious to know how I’ve been missing out on potentially earning 100K more points which equates to almost £85!

Play Xbox pretty much everyday.
Playing PC only worth 20 points a day these days.

I haven’t played my XSX since September of 2023. I recently turned it on when Stalker 2 released and it’s been the main game I’ve been playing earnestly (and it’s fantastic). I have 12 achievements for it so far (out of 50). I’m really looking forward to playing more of that, and Indiana Jones when it releases soon!

I hadn't realized how little I played xbox this year until now. My most played game was fallout 4 at 25hrs. My other top played were from my son. But really, I've lost my hype on xbox this year after all the back and forth, lack of big releases, putting their games on other platforms, etc. Really soured my taste on the brand unfortunately. Hoping with indy, it could reignite my love for xbox but who knows. Really took a dip this year over last year for me.

@Fiendish-Beaver that’s an amazing achievement… my best unlock was a Brotato 0.39% for completing a run as a Dwarf. You and others have put in the time for BG3!

Really glad that like a dragon infinite wealth is my number 1 for the year and despite having just come out Metaphor is my #4.

So this year (or maybe it was there last year too), there's also stats for the platforms you play on. I have 601 hours on console, 164 hours on PC, and 78 hours on cloud. Makes sense and I actually really like seeing that I'm making use of play anywhere. What is a little confusing for me is the inclusion of mobile where I have 0 minutes. Does anyone have any mobile play time and can say what it refers to? My guess otherwise is it's just a spillover from the unlaunched Xbox mobile game store. Though from that we can guess they wanted to not just put games up on the store, but streamline the experience through your Xbox gamer profile which really gives me hope that play anywhere for smaller games that could run native on mobile is on the table. Like I'd kill for an Xbox Play Anywhere version of Vampire Survivors and even Hades managed to get a native mobile version. We've also seen native mobile ports of games like AC Mirage and Resident Evil on iPhone and iPads. They're currently little more than tech demos, but smartphones have become beasts and I don't think we're far away from xbox one era games playing natively on them well. We already can see older gen games play on them fantastically with emulators and there's all the smaller indie ports.

Also, anyone miss the version from last year (or was it the year before) where you basically had a personalized virtual museum? I guess the axing of avatars means they've pivoted, but IMO if they really want the Xbox brand to be this expansive ecosystem synonyms with gaming itself, they need fun archival features like that. We're gamers on a gaming platform in a gaming ecosystem: make it a game. It'd be so cool if we just had virtual museums that got a new wing added every year and we could visit our friends museums with our avatars.
