Update []: Xbox Wire has now fully detailed this week's Free Play Days offering, which is now confirmed to be the final FPD selection for 2024. Black Ops 6 (multiplayer and Zombies only) is also playable for free over the weekend, and the Brothers Remake is limited to a one-hour trial.
Both of these games are open to all Xbox users, whereas the other four titles are limited to Xbox Game Pass subscribers like your typical Free Play Days offerings.
Original Story: Xbox Free Play Days is now live for the coming weekend - and we have quite a substantial offering available this week. Microsoft has added five games in total to the program, including 2024's Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake - which can easily be finished over the weekend!
Here's the full Xbox Free Play Days lineup this week:
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake (1-hour trial)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (multiplayer and Zombies only)
- Dragon Ball: The Breakers
- EA Sports FC 25
- Madden NFL 25
- WWE 2K24
You'll need a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core, Xbox Game Pass Standard or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take part in Free Play Days - with all three tiers now including online access just like Xbox Live Gold used to. All of the above titles are playable until late on Sunday, December 15.
If you're wanting to keep any of these for good, we've got three of the games discounted on the Xbox Store right now. EA Sports FC 25 and Madden NFL 25 are 50% off, whilst Dragon Ball: The Breakers has a whopping 85% discount at the time of writing.
Xbox Free Play Days - How To Download The Games
- Search for the game on the Xbox Store
- Hit the "Install, Included with Game Pass" or "Free Trial" button
- Play the game!
Will you be putting some time into any of these games this weekend? Let us know down below.

I thought Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake was already on Game Pass?
@johnK The Xbox 360 version is, but the remake isn't.
I think the brothers game is only a hour trial though?
Might give wwe a go something fun to play!
@FraserG Not quite. It's the mildly enhanced next-gen version from 2015 rather than the original 360 version from 2013.
@Vordus Oh apologies! Too many versions of this game
I am always the complainer who says "Hmm, nothing I want to try here..." (except occasionally when there is--loved that Warhammer everything free trial and loved Rogue Trader best by far)
