It looks like another Terminator game is on the way following the discovery of a new rating on the Australian Classification Board.
It's called Terminator 2D: No Fate and will be coming to the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It's developed and published by the UK-based team Reef Entertainment, who previously released the 2019 FPS Terminator: Resistance.
The game has been rated 'M' for 'mature' and is also on the way to PC, Nintendo and PlayStation platforms. There's no other information just yet, but when we get an update, we'll be sure to let you know.

One other Terminator game on the horizon is Terminator: Survivors - a new survival open-world title due out in 2025.

2D? Wonder if it’s going to be some sort of Metroidvania game.
@awp69 That's what I was thinking
Nacon's new Terminator: Survivors just finished its Steam Beta and will be here shortly:

No need to bother with old-school 2D stuff imo.
Terminator is my favourite franchise of all time, along with Garfield.
Putting 2D in the title is... a choice. I love 2D games but other than HD-2D I can't think of many games doing this in the last decade.
Hmmm I'm curious. It's my favourite franchise along with the Alien Saga. Resistance and it's dlc was an underrated gem for me. If this is 2D then it'll still be of interest. I'd really like to see a Nex Machina style twin stick Terminator too. Isometric games always punch above their weight for art/visual style in my opinion.
Sounds like this might be like the Ash vs Evil Dead and Halloween 2D games.
I really liked Resistance. I am confused by the "2D" in the title though. I'm assuming it's to do with the the dimensions of the game rather than some obscure reference to judgment day 2. I remember there being something like this around the Terminator 2 movie.
My interest is definitely piqued. I loved Resistance and got the platinum trophy for it. I thought they handled the source material brilliantly and would like to see what else they can do with the franchise. I’m curious about the 2D aspect in the title.
@awp69 its getting a Switch release so it wont be a complex game!
