Xbox Game Pass Members Can Claim Two Free Movies This Halloween

Halloween is almost upon us, and Xbox is celebrating the occasion by giving away two movies for FREE as part of October 2024's Xbox Game Pass Perks! There's inevitably a catch though... they're only available in certain regions.

In fact, we have a feeling it's only Xbox users in the United States that can claim Saw and The Devil's Rejects right now, which is a shame but not something we're particularly surprised about! Here's a look at the two new Perks:

It remains to be seen whether these two movies will expand to more regions as the month rolls on, but considering they can only be claimed until the end of October, we're going to assume that won't happen.

@Ricky-Spanish if you’ve never seen the devils rejects. It’s def worth a watch. It’s a Rob Zombie movie, but it’s good. Well it was back then. Haven’t seen in it in forever. Not sure how well it holds up 😂😂

This preference for certain regions really irritates me. If Microsoft are going to give more benefits for Game Pass members in the US, that's absolutely fine, but if so, why then charge those of us in other Countries either the same, or indeed more, to be part of that Service? Those of us in the UK, for example, should either get the same benefits (or similar, if there is some sort of licencing issue), or quite simply we should be paying less. It is a distinctly unfair practice that see those Countries outside the one receiving the benefits effectively funding benefits that they themselves do not see...
