Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Adds New Performance Mode For Xbox Series X|S

One of the downsides we mentioned in our "Not Bad" 6/10 review of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP last month was that the game was riddled with bugs, but to the developer's credit, they've been very busy ironing those out in recent weeks.

We've seen a couple of updates for the Xbox version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP over the past few days, listing a wide range of bugs that have apparently been fixed, while also revealing that a "Performance Mode" has now been added.

According to Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda, this new Performance Mode allows the game to run at 1440p / 60FPS on Xbox Series X|S, with the intent being to provide a mode that "allows you to play at a more stable FPS".

Things are picking up for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, then, and Yasuda has been active on social media recently asking fans to share the bugs they come across - stating that if they can be reproduced, the team can "definitely fix it".

You could always opt for the original Xbox 360 version in the meantime if you like... but keep in mind that it's not backwards compatible on Xbox One, Series X and Series S, so RePOP is the way to go on modern consoles!

Have you played Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP? What do you think of it? Tell us in the comments.
